For the fastest route to the fire tower, walk past the Nature Center and turn right onto the Laketrail. After hiking 1.1 miles, take Hemlock trail which leads straight to said fire tower.

When. You're on the lakeside trail, if you take the first right after the first bridge (not the dam). The trail has a pretty big hill, but it has some pretty views of the mountains.

The Lakeside Trail is a 2.3 mile hike around BM Lake. During the fall leaf show, the way in which light and reflections play on the surface of the water allows you to capture amazing images.

Take advantage of the park's planetarium theater & Carl Zeiss ZKP-4 star projector. Amazing shows and visuals of the night sky.

Great day of family fun. Hiking, barge rides, zip lines, animal presentations, and planetarium shows. Picnic tables available.

Photo Tip: If you want great photos of the wolves in the Wolf Habitat, be ready to shoot with a telephoto lens of at least 150mm at a high ISO sensitivity.

Visit the wolves, snakes, and birds of prey at Bays Mountain. Go see the planetarium show if it is too hot outside!
