- Evan JohnsonAugust 7, 2014Great German beers, though the liters will fill you up. Food is very good and improving all the time. Cobb salad and burgers are great. Dogs allowed on patio.
- The menu has definitely improved from the time they originally opened. The steak quesadillas are very good. Their music playlist is awesome too: lots of 80s and mid 90s British and American Indie/Alt
- A greet place to hang our with friends and family. Good selection of beers on draft and bottles. The lamb burger is just amazing - medium rare ;) The French fries taste amazing with the chipotle aioli
- Udhay SundarNovember 27, 2014The beer on tap was good, essentially three varieties sweet, bitter and really bitter. Only caveat is that it closes earlier than most places. But definitely worth it.
- Stephen FoxNovember 15, 2014Fantastic service. No reservations unless you have a party of 8 or more. Also, please note: There’s no award for trying every beer on the menu.
- Robert HawkinsJune 27, 2015Super expensive, but the line moved fast, the beer selection was excellently curated, and the veggie burger was delicious (and very unique, with feta!)
- Kevin LaheyDecember 22, 2012Apparently if a man orders a .3l beer (ABC 8 and at lunch) they give him a sippy straw and tell him he's drinking a kiddie beer. Been to a lot of great beer bars and this was a first.
- Ryan RosarioSeptember 29, 2013Fun place. Nice patio. PACKED Friday evenings and weekend evenings which may be too much for some people. Service is a bit slow but the food is fresh odd the grill.
- Continuous improvement of the food and beer keep me coming back. The tables - imported from Germany - create a great context for gathering with friends or meeting new ones.
- Mustard Chicken Sandwich with white cheddar, crème fraîche on ciabatta roll with a pint of Big Bear Black Lager (draft) ...of course.
- 4-Chili Pimento Burger with cherry pepper relish, chipotle aiole, roasted poblano and pimento cheese.
- Robert BeletzDecember 11, 2016The pretzel was deliciously salted despite the rainy weather. Awesome smiles all over the place. Its crazy awesome!!!
- Samba SowJune 26, 2013My bro-in-law took me here..and I was amazed. Seat outside, face Castro street and enjoy your drink! great place!
- Veronica 🦁December 24, 2014Great lunch spot. 1 liter of beer for 11-15 dollas. Great selection of cider. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
- Luis CastroOctober 16, 2015I have been here so many times. The beer is great. Get in early because it gets really crowded.
- Gnat BrainMarch 2, 2018Bierhaus burger is yummy. Mostly German beers on tap. Lots of board games inside.
- Best burger, great atmosphere and awesome beer. Can't go wrong! Highly suggest the Roswell and garlic sweet potato fries.
- Michal AichingerAugust 6, 2014They have great Czech and German beers but meal isn't best. Burger wasn't medium as ordered. If You are from Europe you can be suprised that They askin 15% tip without serving.
- Michael SmithSeptember 6, 2014True reinheitsgebrot, their beers taste like they are just malt, hops, yeast, and water. Pretzels are excellent, too.
- VladieJune 6, 2015Good selection of beers and good ones too. The goat cheese and bacon salad is great.
- Nelson CottierJuly 10, 2013Great selection of beer and awesome pretzel! 80's alternative music took me back. Lol!
- Andrew SandlerJanuary 20, 2016The pretzels were lovely, as were the fried pickles. And sour beer rocks.
- Christian DickmannMay 17, 2015They try to have a German theme going, but "Radler" is missing from the menu, and the food choices aren't German either. Second bar keeper I asked mixed me a Radler though, he had heard of it.
- burgers and real German beer and a proper beer house atmosphere
- A lot of potential... But most burgers are under seasoned, limited sides and this all comes at a premium. A nice beer garden and decent prices for the beer..
- Benson LeungNovember 25, 2012Be sure to get here before 8:30pm (even on a Saturday when they're open til 10) if you want to order food since the kitchen closes early.
- Yun DingDecember 4, 2013So this place used to be called Steak Out. They don't have the Alabama burger on the menu anymore but if you ask nicely they will still make it for you.
- Alison JenkinsMarch 8, 2013The fries and onion strings are fried in peanut oil, so if you're allergic, steer clear. Thoughtful girl at the counter!
- Sweet potato fries and ales! Cannot go wrong.
- While the burgers are great, their bratwurst is where it's at! Seriously.
- Michael M.June 16, 2012Lamb burger was tasty with a good quality bun. I really don't get the comments about small portion sizes. I felt satisfied.
- Good fries and a pretty good beer selection. The menu seems to be evolving still, but I haven't had anything bad here.
- Stefan D.December 18, 2017The Currywurst was highly underwhelming for German standards anyway. Both the taste of the meat as well as the sauce was basically non existent. The fries were alright though.
- Nice outdoor beer garden in downtown Mountain View with German beers on tap! :)
- Burgers and Beer are top-notch. Great for an evening outing with colleagues.
- Michael TchouMarch 5, 2013Happy Hour from 3-6PM Weekdays with $3 pints and $2 off litres, food specials
- Fredrik AnbackenJuly 26, 2013Don't forget to buy a side order for your burger! Unless you want it without fries...
