- dan rubelAugust 30, 2014Occupying the former Jim Gould, Big Grove Tavern focuses on locally-sourced food and drinks. Terrific house-seasoned popcorn, extensive beer menu, and attentive staff makes Big Grove a necessary stop!
- Chris NixonMay 13, 2015Tavern burger with Red Onion Marmalade and greens (salad) is good. Friendly service and a good selection of beers.
- Erica CrosswhiteJuly 16, 2012The tater tots are AMAZING. Probably some of the best food I've ever ate. I can see what the hype was about on South Park regarding the creme fraiche.
- Great egg sandwich at brunch on weekends, but be careful! The yolk will jump out and you'll end up wearing it. Take the toast off and break the yolk before you bite.
- Great menu and beer on tap. Fantastic heated outdoor seating just in time for a pandemic.
- Lots of favorites. Chicken liver pate appetizer. Any of salads. Chicken and waffles. Fantastic burger. Etc etc etc.
- PollyJuly 27, 2012They have it all.. Drinks, delicious food and ambience. Order up a deviled egg and soak it in.
- Carl CatedralMarch 2, 2013The burger w/ a fried egg was pretty good, and the bread pudding was decadent and delicious
- Ivan LuzardoFebruary 17, 2019Loved the crab cakes, definitely a success. Try the chicken with dumplings!
- ClaireMay 23, 2018The staff is very nice and accommodating to large groups. Good food besides the stack burger.
- Mary Ellen FrickeFebruary 22, 2014Pork tenderloin was incredible... and this is coming from a girl who grew up on a pork farm.
- Beakie is their party planner. Yes they can host your party! Try it out. Big room.
- Rob LeighAugust 8, 2022The chef has an aversion to sauces. There was no gravy on the poutine, no blue cheese on the black & bleu burger and no dressing on the salad.
- ChambanamomsSeptember 28, 2013YUM! Will make a kids grilled cheese as well as naked chicken tenders with fries.
- Don't miss a look at the beautiful driftwood hanging over the bar.
- The bartender Steve is hot. And amazing at making drinks.
- Don't be fooled by the "tavern" in the name... this is fine dining food worth the price.
- Maria Laura MalvinoNovember 14, 2014If you want to pay for expensive tiny meals, then this is your place
- Christian SandvigJuly 31, 2012Avoid the green beans. Undercooked, too much lemon, and the beans themselves are old and wrinkled!
