Edward ButeraJuly 2, 2017Everything is cool. The tour took about an hour, and covered quite a bit of the facility. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic.

Debbie ShapiroApril 2, 2014They allow bottled water on the tour but no other liquids. Unfortunately, the vending machine at the gift shop was *gasp* out of water before the tour! You may want to bring a spare water bottle.

Biosphere 2 is open for public tours every day of the year except Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. The tour is an interesting combination of history and current research. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
