Awesome happy hour (5-7pm) meal deal: Appetizer, main course, and a house cocktail for $20. A steal! Good for veggos and omnivores alike. Love the tamarind and hibiscus drinks.

Senegalese restaurant by day, dance spot by night, you don't have to dress up to grind to the reggaeton, Latin and world beats, but you do have to try Baobab's signature hibiscus and ginger drinks. Read more

The Yassa (marinated onions in a lemon garlic mustard sauce) with tilapia and couscous is literally one of my favorite things to eat in San Francisco. Get a hibiscus margarita to go with it.

If you come for dinner before it turns into a club, you don't have to pay the cover! Just make sure to get your hand stamped if you step out.

Although not a "salsa joint" - they play do play a wide mix of world beats including salsa, bachata, reggae, African and more. They serve yummy Senegalese too. Worth checking out.
