- Rachel RebeccaJanuary 30, 2017The service here is quite friendly,. I have come a very long way, here, and I had the white fish sandwich, and I must say it is very good and worth the trip even though my friend lives over here.
- Erik de VreezeJuly 27, 2016Umm... Black Forest Pastrami! Cabbage rolls! The only thing missing at this location is the fountain drinks like their other location has. And chicken fried steak. Otherwise it's a gem!
- Derek FromsonAugust 30, 2012Came here to have a tasty deli sandwich, but it was too early. Very pleasantly surprised that they would have excellent guacamole wrapped into a fresh breakfast burrito. Best I've had.
- Offbeat L.A.January 29, 2016Opened in 1967. Classic late ’60s Jewish deli with forest green & gold booths, etched glass, brick walls.
- Michael LehrerApril 11, 2016Killer combination Cabbage soup (it's fantastic) & 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Ask 4 bread brought to the table; enough delicious meat in the Brent's 1/2 to make two regular 1/2 sandwiches.
- Isaac CruzAugust 20, 2014Corned beef hash is a must. Such flavorful pastrami. Kathy was a dear. It may have taken forty years to get out of the desert, but only 10 minutes to inhale breakfast. Worth the trip.
- Serious EatsAugust 14, 2013At Brent's, an LA sandwich institution, the smoked pile of peppered-at-the-edges pastrami seem to multiply endlessly with every bite. There is something more at work than just your average reuben.
- Skirt steak tacos and fried zucchini are to die for!! Matzo ball soup is great and the tongue sandwich for oldies. Place is a bit pricey but definately worth it. Great service.
- John StevansSeptember 29, 2014The Heartstopper is AMAZING. Portions are very generous. Asked if we'd like bread at the beginning; we didn't realize it was complimentary. Half a sandwich later we were all glad for our mistake!
- Bobby SolomonMay 6, 2017The black pastrami reuben was really great, so much flavor. Get it with a side of curly fries.
- Corned beef reuben is great. They have a cucumber salad that is a great alternative to coleslaw. I don't care for the potato salad. Skinny and curly fries are best. Free rye bread, just ask for it!
- Michael MednickApril 16, 2014Great food. It's always busy but it's worth it. I've been coming here since I was a little boy with my parents and grandparents.
- Justin OrdovezaDecember 24, 2014The matzo ball soup is very filling. From the ball of matzo, and the noodles it's carbtastic.
- Best deli anywhere in the world. Even their pastrami is better than anything in NYC. Zagat rates it a 26+ more than 10 yrs in a row. Simply a deli must do in the Valley and L.A,
- Justin OrdovezaDecember 24, 2014The latkes here are huge. One is the size of a burger patty. It's served with sour cream and cherry apple sauce.
- Nichole BaumgardnerDecember 8, 2016Looks like a hole in the wall, but much nicer inside. Excellent soup and sandwiches.
- Anoush KhazeApril 18, 2016Great food. Great service. You pay for w h at you get. Avg $20- $25 per person.
- Vicki GoizuetaMay 8, 2010The Monte Cristo sandwich was delicious. This was my first time at the restaurant and the place was crazy, busy, bit I suspect this is the norm. From looking around, no one seemed to mind. :-)
- Getting your sandwich extra lean costs a little extra, but it is an option!
- Maybe the best pastrami in SoCal. At least right up there with Langers.
- LA's #1 deli according to Los Angeles magazine. Best pastrami on the West Coast, Ron's special brunch can't be beat. Read more
- RC ⚾💫🐘February 13, 2012Fresh pickles, matzo ball soup, and a black&white cookie -- it doesn't get any better!

- Chefs FeedAugust 22, 2014Josie Le Balch, chef of Josie Restaurant, eats here on her nights off. She loves the Hot pastrami & swiss sandwich. Read more
