- Janet B.March 10, 2017Upscale neighbourhood with trendy shops and tasty but relatively conservative food choices. Crowd-pleasing and definitely worth a visit. Would describe the neighbourhood as post-hipster.
- Just a short trip up the Monon, on the White River, is the Art Center. Free to walk around. Fav spot is a bench overlooking the river. Good place to finish the Sunday crossword.

- Erik RowleyDecember 10, 2016Maybe I need to give it another chance, but rather go to the city for nightlife. Butler is nearby so more of a college crowd. First night here social crowd was really lame, don't get the hype.
- If you want to experience some of the best local urban life in Indianapolis, make sure to check out Broad Ripple Village.
- When you're going to spend a night out here, make sure you tell people that you're going to B-Rip, that way they'll know you're a complete douchebag.
- Make sure to feed the meters. There's a thick swarm of parking meter vultures constantly circling the village!
- If you see Sarge, the husky with a bandana, feel free to say hi!
- Watch out for the hipsters, those plastic glasses and knit hats bite.
- Joining the Broad Ripple Village Association is a great way to give back to the Broad Ripple community.
- I think someone should give up their Strangle-hold on the mayorship. A little self-imposed term limit?
