Sushi Restaurant · Totem Lake · 45 tips and reviews
Bruce Ryan: Great sushi, but if you want to eat their non-sushi Japanese dishes you can't eat at the sushi bar. So, if you're going in a group, keep that in mind.

Chinese Restaurant · International District · 48 tips and reviews
Bruce Ryan: Caveat for those of you planning to go later in the day... they *do* run out of congee. And you will be sad. Plan ahead. Also, it's a tiny place, so it's a horrible idea to bring a big group.
Bruce Ryan: My wife loves the Szechwan Crab, but I'm partial to the Chopped Pepper Hot Fish and Five Spice Tofu w/ Pickles and Pork. Everything's pretty tasty, really.
Indian Restaurant · Downtown Renton · 64 tips and reviews
Bruce Ryan: Fantastic food and great service from a family-run restaurant. Everything I've eaten there has been delicious, but I especially recommmend the fish fingers appetizer (you might overlook it otherwise).

Pub · University District · 35 tips and reviews
Bruce Ryan: Best known for sausage, Shultzy's has 3 different types of veggie burgers (VegiMax, Boca, or Black Bean) with different toppings. The spicy Chimichurri VegiMax goes great with a pilsner or Kostritzer.

Chinese Restaurant · Roosevelt · 30 tips and reviews
Bruce Ryan: The best Szechwan Spicy Chicken (辣子雞) in the area as well as other tasty choices. Their dumplings are rustic thick-skinned style (which I like), but take a while so order them when you sit down.
Greek Restaurant · Bellevue Square · 6 tips and reviews
Bruce Ryan: You might not expect great food from a mall spot, but Gyros and Falafel here are better than anywhere around. Get the combo for fries (with/without feta) or yummy lentil soup and soda.
Joey: Good food. Very busy at lunch. If you are alone they will try to seat you at the bar. Resist! Bar service is abysmal and inattentive since bartender also waits a table section.
Bruce Ryan: Their fish burrito ordinarily has cabbage instead of rice & beans, but they'll make you a delicious one with rice & beans on request (it gets ordered as a chicken burrito sub fish, I think).
Bruce Ryan: The brisket is delicious and probably the best choice. The pulled pork and ribs are good, but the brisket is better. Since Stan's a KC guy, there's often Boulevard beer on tap. Park in the lot behind.
Dim Sum Restaurant · Crossroads · 19 tips and reviews
Bruce Ryan: Very good dim sum (especially some of the unconventional dim sum like sesame beef), cramped parking (I like to pick up a few things at the Safeway across the street and walk over).
