Don't be shy, enter the Meridien hotel and even if you're sure you not at the right place ask for the Burger Joint. They will show you the hyden door.

A dive burger joint hidden in a snazzy hotel. Walk past the concierge desk in the Le Parker Meridian and follow the burger smell. It's hidden behind a red curtain!

I don't understand the hype about this place. The burger is good, but definitely not worth standing in line for. Many other great options especially if you are just visiting for a few days.

Fun atmosphere but the buns were like wonder bread. The fries frozen, and I suspect the meat is factory farmed and frozen patties. Just an interesting version of McD's. Sorry, not impressed.

Love the atmosphere and attitude. Fries were ok, perfectly salted. Burger was good, but the works were a bit much. Wouldn't wait a long time for it. Shake Shack might be a bit better in my opinion.

The line seems to disappear after 9pm on Friday nights! Decent burger, not my best in NYC (ShakeShack better amongst others) but has a little something to it.
