- Joseph GarciaApril 6, 2014Excellent! Ordered the chop-a-tou-la; mushrooms, potatoes, some ridiculously good sauce over a chared chicken beast! I'd drive from Houston just to have this again... Enough said.
- Teresa CAugust 21, 2020Excellent service. Great views. On the water. Sunset is gorgeous on the deck. Pet friendly. Love it! ❤️
- David PittsMay 13, 2015Shrimp creole on the lunch menu is great, right amount so you don't feel painfully full. Cool spot on the river too.
- Ashlee GordonMarch 11, 2017The crescent city chicken is amazinnnngggg! Try the fried pickles first :))))) last time I went my chicken was a bit burnt but still good
- Very few bad choices, looking for something rich, try the chicken czarina. Fried chicken, shrimp, and a parmesan roux that's only a little spicy.
- Serge JordenMarch 27, 2016Crawfish by the pound -$7.99. Sit outside at sunset and watch the bridge light up
- Neil CombsAugust 24, 2013Ever come to Waco try this place! Great food and across the HWY from the new Baylor Football Stadium 😀
- Debra NicoleMarch 4, 2012Get a table overlooking the water! So pretty. Try the blackened catfish, so good! The veggies are crisp & the grilled shrimp is fresh and delicious!
- Natalie DelgadoJune 1, 2012Ask for bread to feed the ducks and turtles! So fun after an excellent meal! The crawfish etouffet Is the BEST!!!(saved some to take home):)
- The ettoufee is HUGE, alse the hush puppies are delicious.
- Always taken aback with the prices. Nearly $3 for iced tea. But the food is good. Just spendy.
- Great prices on lunch specials but get here early for quick service.
- Gator AndressSeptember 21, 2014The food was great, yet they were out of the armadillo eggs and the server/bartender Chris was a dick....
- Kathy HembreeOctober 15, 2011You got to try the alligator and the armadillo eggs. Also got out onto the deck and feed the turtles.
- Jennifer BarnesJuly 21, 2010When you visit for lunch, they'll hand you a dinner menu. Their lunch menu is on a separate card and you may need to ask your server to see one.
- Macy GJuly 6, 2018Chicken Tchoupitiulas was tasty. The etouffee was just okay, nothing special. Keep in mind, all menu items have a lot of seasoning! Service is also very slow.
- Ernest SmythApril 18, 2011Armadillo eggs: 1 appetizer order is enuf for 4; or a full dinner for 2. Lo-carb and de-lish!
- Katherine ArmstrongJuly 21, 2012Disappointing at best. Best thing I've had is the armadillo eggs & those aren't even "Cajun". Steam bag subpar veggies & lackluster sauces. This place has a ton of potential & just falls flat...
- Gina VolanteFebruary 1, 2015It's not as good ad I thought it would be - food was cold the gumbo was gross
