Excellent! Ordered the chop-a-tou-la; mushrooms, potatoes, some ridiculously good sauce over a chared chicken beast! I'd drive from Houston just to have this again... Enough said.

Shrimp creole on the lunch menu is great, right amount so you don't feel painfully full. Cool spot on the river too.

Very few bad choices, looking for something rich, try the chicken czarina. Fried chicken, shrimp, and a parmesan roux that's only a little spicy.

Get a table overlooking the water! So pretty. Try the blackened catfish, so good! The veggies are crisp & the grilled shrimp is fresh and delicious!

When you visit for lunch, they'll hand you a dinner menu. Their lunch menu is on a separate card and you may need to ask your server to see one.

Chicken Tchoupitiulas was tasty. The etouffee was just okay, nothing special. Keep in mind, all menu items have a lot of seasoning! Service is also very slow.

Disappointing at best. Best thing I've had is the armadillo eggs & those aren't even "Cajun". Steam bag subpar veggies & lackluster sauces. This place has a ton of potential & just falls flat...
