- ᴡ ElliotApril 13, 2015My favorite writing spot. Whether you're looking for tea, wine, juice or coffee, they've got a wide selection. Also good for a low-key breakfast - the egg sandwich is the best around.
- Lindsey NagyMarch 30, 2014Super-homey; a quaint nook for a solo breakfast or couple-sized. Friendly, attentive staff will find you a seat when it gets full. Unique menu options and free wifi. Push bathroom door hard to open ;)
- Cody-Ann 👑💫November 13, 2014All day breakfast option on the menu. Cocktails good selection of fruit and vegetable juices. Pasta, pastries yum yum yum.
- Brita JamesMarch 19, 2013Solid variety of baked goods...the New York Cheesecake is as good as the music selection which is to say, quite good! Try the Harney and Sons Early Grey.

- Honghui YuAugust 10, 2014Nice sidewalk cafe right across from Tompkins Square Park. Good for spending an afternoon reading or catching up with friends, but don't expect any spectacular food or drinks.
- Mish and RobMay 16, 2015Underwhelming iced tea, surly staff and iffy wifi are saved by a great location (opposite Tompkins Square Park), plenty of seats, and the world's best brownie.

- Adam D.April 28, 2014Be warned if you plan to come here to get work done, the wifi is consistently and notoriously slow and unstable. That problem aside, it's a great daytime working atmosphere.
- Great atmosphere, great loose leaf tea, but they charge for wifi and the bathroom situation is a bit weird. Love the booths in the back or sitting outside in the summertime.
- Paul WilliamsFebruary 17, 2012Love this place. The prices are good for the area. Also the coffee is really good. Great place to have breakfast and wake up.
- Andrew FurmanAugust 18, 2014Awesome late night spot to get some work done and people watch at the same time

- Kevin MOctober 30, 2013An old wise man on a scooter explains how sketchy the East village was 20 years ago as everyone in the cafe stops what they are doing to listen.
- OlegApril 1, 2015This place has a good selection of teas and the prices are very reasonable. And these guys are really friendly
- Omniformer SuperconnectorApril 14, 2012OMNIFORMER SUGGESTS ordering iced coffee and any salad. The beef carpaccio actuall rocks here! Affordable and fresh and the e. Vil. Girls are HOT
- Hoyin TongNovember 9, 2013Charming & rustic interiors. A great place to study, read or just people watch.
- Jenny ParkNovember 19, 2010Great place to study or read. They don't pressure you to make a purchase in order for you to stay. Food is ehhh.... I like the small portioned kids menu. Coffee is quite strong.
- My favorite place in the EV. Great service and delicious loose pots of teas. I recommend the Masala.
- Miles BranmanOctober 22, 2011Excellent place to do some work and enjoy a hearty meal. The chicken fingers with honey balsamic sauce is great!
- Best place in the Village to write. Great pasta and try the white chocolate mousse cake!
- Mo FNovember 22, 2014Their wifi is now free, guys. I think this is a good place to study, but it is rather dark, so not the best for reading.
- Be prepared for slow service, but it's worth it and they don't hustle you out of your table. Solid coffee, good food.
- Hannah JohnsonMarch 17, 2013Best breakfast sandwiches in the East Village - add a bagel for $1 too...

- PE CoisneApril 17, 2014Not the friendliest staff in New York, but they're decently priced and yes, wifi is free
- Jaclyn CareyOctober 4, 2013Pretty slow service but I almost prefer that to speedy service then glaring servers when you're sitting down doing work and taking up a table for more than 15 minutes.
- Jen RamosOctober 3, 2011Love this place. Moved to DC but still make a b-line for it when I come to NYC.Great soy latte.
- EMilyFebruary 12, 2011I like this place. Good atmosphere but it's ridiculous that they charge for wifi so I go to B Cup Cafe instead. Similar feel. Free wifi.
- They don't charge for wifi if you spend $5 or more. :)
- Be prepared to freeze your butt off in the bathroom. Nice place though.
- TaylorFebruary 9, 2011If you buy the wifi, don't log out. Regardless of how long you bought, logging out ends your wifi access.
- Conchita CamposJuly 29, 2011Have usually liked this place. But don't come on Friday afternoon. The waiter is a complete dickwad.
