- My three favorite things are the Teriyaki Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, and Sesame Chicken (Not your average Sesame Chicken. Sweet and Spicy. Red sauce. Love it!)
- Narma LiyanaarachchiFebruary 18, 2014Great venue with proximity to penn station. A wide variety of ready made options- including entres, desserts, breakfast options, etc. Good for those desiring a quick bite.
- Jake SteinermanJanuary 19, 2015Bagel with salmon cream cheese for under $3?! Sold! And its delicious too! Tons of options for great prices (considering you're in NYC)
- Sofia RodriguezJune 25, 2014Place looks and smells clean and organized. They have pizza, Japanese food, burgers, a juice bar and the buffet.
- A great buffet style place around Herald Square/Penn Station. Paninis are very solid.
- The salad bar looks a little sad lately. Go to the back of the cafe for the Japanese big bowl soups. $6 vegetable udon!!
- Really like their salad bar. Always fresh selection of fresh fruits and lots of variety at the hot bar.
- The sushi bar is really great and reasonably priced. Try the tuna avacado with wild rice. Delish.
- Maxim KovalchukJune 27, 2011Bistro is a great value and quality for pastas, salads, and sandwiches. Buffet is OK. I'm puzzled by amount of negative reviews.
- Always stop here before heading to the Javits Center for snacks or a salad.
- The Chicken Teriyaki in the back is really good. And they make it right in front of you.
- An XiaoApril 16, 2010Head to the back for the bibimbap, ramen and udon - warm, delicious and filling.
- Steve SantoianniApril 20, 2011I think a lot of these tips are when it was cafe Milano. I love their food.
- Ian P.May 9, 2010Salad mix offers variety at competitive prices to other places. Cut fruit is fresh, but a little overpriced. The Japanese cook always seems to be finished by the time I get there.
- Stephanie HwangDecember 25, 2012AVOID!! Tried 2 charge me $3 for a bottle of tea, $2.50 for oj. $6 for ham and cheese sandwich. They cost about half of that anywhere else. No other way around it than to avoid. Never going back!
- John DempseyMarch 16, 2010Pre-packaged goods (e.g. Sodas, yogurts, etc.) are wildly overpriced (and unmarked). Buy elsewhere. Smell emanating onto 34th street is nauseating. If you go inside your clothes will smell for the day
- Paola MontelongoAugust 8, 2014The cashier was so rude. She didn't want to give an extra fork just because I didn't ask for it BEFORE I bought the fucking food! Retarded.
- AlexAugust 15, 2010Place smells like absolute shit. Everything is over priced, even for 34th street. Salad bar food rarely gets replaced; I've seen the same macaroni and cheese out from noon until 8pm. Avoid.
- Ansley HulbertJanuary 1, 2011things were cold when they shouldn't have been...kinda not worth the money.
- VeraMay 2, 2014Very bad service: one employee was pretty rude when I asked him about ingredients of the dishes they serve. It's not very respectful for customs with food allergies. :(
