Pricey place, but it's Upper East, after all! Nice dining room and good waiters. Cake was excellent (I tried the Adele). Coffee also good. Eggs on creamed spinach w potatoes tasty lighter option.
Good classic pork ramen (without being mind blowing). Frozen top beer fun. Waiters friendly but seemed a bit too quick to clear food/ask if you wanted the bill IMHO.
Only discovered this place on the last day of my stay nearby. Very clean shop; many appetizing sandwich options. The Louis (avocado, lots of ham, hash brown, jalapeños, cheese) on toasted roll was 👌
Vegan chocolate sauce is amaze. Ditto the vegan mint chip. Earl grey lives up to hype - refreshing; not too sweet and not too creamy. Possibly the best icecream I've ever had (and I eat a lot!)
I love you, Chouquette, but when you're already closed on Mon and Tues, not baking enough on Sunday so you sell out by 11am (when you're already closing early at 2pm) simply isn't good enough.
Zucca pizza (bianche base, purée pumpkin and pancetta) is delicious! Their bases have just the right amount of char 👌
The bomboloni (Italian donuts) are the bomb! Full of flavour but not overly oily or sweet. Small, but they pack a punch. Excellent bread and espresso coffee, too (including a great iced latte).
Excellent, smooth cold brew. So good that you need only a splash of milk; no sugar required. Small pastry case full of delicious things.

Hearty, homely meals - we had the potato goulash with Viennese sausage, and the ravioli. Both tasty. They have great value cocktail specials on the weekend, too. As it's outdoors people smoke a bit.
Incredible pastries and cakes sourced from a local bakery (the granola bars are ridiculously good). Also - they do a fab, strong iced latte! A very homely cafe.
