- James H.June 13, 2016Excellent soft shells but if you are not a regular forget getting the attention that should accompany $150/person tab. They have recently raised prices again but there is no shortage of regulars.
- Simon GideonAugust 31, 2015My favorite Italian restaurant in New York! Food is robust and plentiful, super wine list, incredible daily appetizers & dinner specials. Eating here makes me feel like I'm "back in the neighborhood".
- James H.December 13, 2015Veal chop with mushrooms and onions. I always order it since it is always the best in NYC.

- AmateurConciergeJuly 18, 2022Old school uptown Italian. Pastas decent. Fish was lovely. Piano man and maitre d were the highlight
- Unbelievably good. Frankie is the best guy. Have the pasta sampler appetizer and the Napoleon cake for dessert. Life changing.
- James H.December 16, 2019It just seemed like something was missing in the mussels. Not bad but not the usual knock your socks off.
- James H.December 13, 2015Consistently great food with first class service. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Cheapeats IncFebruary 15, 2012High rollers & wise guys. It's like stepping into a Martin Scorsee movie. The food is outstanding. Branzino, Stracciatella
- This place is great if only just for the fact the staff makes you feel like a regular customer and always remembers you. However, have only been here for a nightcap or pre-dinner drink.
- James H.December 16, 2019Good but not outstanding. The chicken was tough and the other dishes were ordinary. Maybe chef was out.
- Katie FlynnJanuary 5, 2012Vongole oreganata and chicken Campagnola. Truly some of the best in the city.
- Gal SivanFebruary 26, 2012If ur looking for a traditional experience just like Arthur ave in the bronx.
