- The Corcoran GroupOctober 8, 2010Comfortable atmosphere and great comfort food, slow service. Try Uncle Red’s Addiction or The Boss’s Favorite. Pair them with a side of mac and cheese.
- I AmosOctober 26, 2013There can be about a twenty-degree temperature difference between the front of the restaurant and the back (the back is hotter), so mind where they seat you.
- Loryn SimonsenDecember 3, 2013This place is super cozy but keep in mind the service is slow (it's meant to have a relaxed, homey feel). Not the best choice on a tight schedule but otherwise it's great!
- Paige CJune 25, 2018Service is absolutely terrible but the burger is great. Nice place to sit outside!
- Brad WolffDecember 29, 2012Great well-done Mac and Cheese. Amazing grilled cheese with superb fries. Nice little place for a quick bite
- Lincoln HayesApril 2, 2013Chicken fried steak like my mom makes! And pretty decent margaritas during happy hour.
- Marc PatlanJanuary 20, 2013Nice place to eat brunch by yourself on your way home from spending the night at a complete stranger's house.
- Lenny MooreMarch 29, 2013The best Mac & Cheese in the city. Great prices for a quick meeting or lunch.
- Amanda WMay 23, 2011Try the "Red Eye" aka beer & tomato juice... I was too timid to do it myself lol. Scrumptious home fries with peppers, cilantro, onions, and more!
- Uncle's Red Addiction and teenie mac and cheese are delish! Meant to take a photo but it was too yummy not to eat righy away!
- Lianne StokesFebruary 28, 2012There is a sangria/ margarita combo that is a huge game changer. Multiple levels of drunken delight.
- Laura ChinNovember 19, 2011Get the TV dinner: chicken fried steak, Mac & cheese, buttery mashed potatoes, and green beans with fried onions. Yum.
- Y N GMay 9, 2011In NYC on vacation or just one of us? Want to take a piece of the big apple home? Yale Gurney - NYC's photographer known worldwide for his NY wall decor is a must.
Yalegurney.com/shop - etta yJuly 10, 2013Used to love this place but they replaced the good ole familiar Chat 'N Chew with some amateur trendy version with bizarre service and food that's not even bad enough to be good. Very suburban feel.
- Old menu was much better. Why change a good thing? Been coming here 8 years. Loved the food. Now meh. Miss Sammy's chicken is now fried with French onions. Greasy and heavy. No more ciabatta bread.
- Rafael De Arce AmoresAugust 29, 2011The TV Dinner is awesome. Expect a good spin on an old time favorite.
- End of an era. The old, cozy, $5 marg Chat n Chew is no more. Under the be mgmt the food had been declining and the prices rising. RIP.
- TaraOctober 28, 2010House salad is delicious & filling- awesome dressing! Fried oysters are a bit over-breaded & greasy.
- thanksgiving on a roll or the meatloaf with sweet potato fries are the best to get.
- Steve CaponeJuly 21, 2011A good alternative to the much busier and trendier Coffee Shop down the block
- Kimberly SAugust 21, 2013The menu has completely changed :( If you're coming in with the hope of a TV Dinner or the meatloaf, prepare for disappointment.
- Damian MakkiApril 27, 2013For the Mac and Cheese connoisseur - pass on Chat 'n Chew's mac. I was sorely disappointed.
- Binu PauloseOctober 4, 2009You can either get the Thanksgiving on a Roll or get the kid-size mac 'n cheese. Either way, you'll be filled up pretty quickly.
- Lou KlepnerJanuary 24, 2010Great atmosphere! I wish I could say the same about their food... but at least it's appropriately priced.
- gingerbread morowitzJune 3, 2009Get the chili and follow it up with the cookies and cream cake. If you can get home without passing out, you r winnar!
