- visitPAAugust 19, 2013Whether it's behind the wheel of a car, in a video installation of falling letters or learning how to grow a garden, this museum offers interactive exhibits for the young tinkerer, artist and more.
- Ari KatzJanuary 5, 2014Can't say enough awesome things about this museum. Went with 4-year-old and barely made it off the first floor in 4 hours. People there are so friendly, so many interesting things to do.
- Mandy SchillSeptember 25, 2015Parking/tickets are a bit pricey, water floor fun. Bring change of clothes for kids, they will get soaked. May want to bring water shoes, floor is a little slick, drain holes can hurt little toes.
- MattMarch 17, 2023Kids had a blast, plenty for them to do. I enjoyed seeing the Mr Roger's puppets. Parking was tight but we got a spot.
- REDBOOKDecember 2, 2010An enormous, airy, awesome place where your kids can run free exploring for hours, and you can be equally stimulated by the smart exhibits. Don’t miss: The replica of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood!
- JH H-DSeptember 27, 2015Great space to host an event such as a wedding! The staff are super great and top of everything
- Matt PendletonJuly 30, 2016This place is awesome! If you can still catch the Daniel Tiger exhibit you will be in luck!
- Alina DSeptember 2, 2015There is an equivalent to this museum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada which is the Ontario Science Center. This museum is less crowded though.
- Steve PolandApril 13, 2017Unreal. Best one I've seen. I'm from Buffalo and we need to really step our game up.
- Bob BrittenAugust 25, 2012Get a reciprocal membership! Gets you admission to this and other participating kids' museums around the country (there's a LOT) for a year.
- Pedro Machado SantaOctober 24, 2015Amazing space for families and kids to learn, experiment and grow.
- Shellee LavinApril 5, 2014If you park in lot with big fish above it they will valley pal cars behind you so you'll be suck shifting for one of the rude valet attendants to move cars around
- Parents MagazineJuly 15, 2011This museum was inspired by the television show “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.” Ride the life-size replica of his trolley and open the alphabet doors to discover surprises.
- There is so much to do! My son had a tough time focusing on one thing.
- Ben KeenMarch 2, 2013Be sure to ask about their Veterans' Discount! FREE admission for any Armed Forces Veteran with proof of service.
- The Junior LeagueJanuary 4, 2013The Pittsburgh Children's Museum was founded in 1983 by the Junior League of Pittsburgh.
- Alyson OlanderJanuary 17, 2011A little pricey for a one-off visit for out-of-towners ($11/adult, $10/kiddo), but at $99 for a family membership for a year? Definitely worth the price.
- Rachel HaringFebruary 23, 2012Definitely make sure to check out the replica of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood!
- Another good idea (if its warm enough) is to bring swimwear for kids in water area. And a towel.
- andrea boykowyczJanuary 26, 2010Always bring a full change of clothes and your kid's own poolside sandals. Water just ends everything.
