Ideal for a romantic meal for two. The menu tends toward gamier options like antelope loin with chick pea barigoule, olive oil cured olives and feta, a nod to the region's hunting traditions. Read more

Now this is the place to go in Charleston. This is the top notch sexiest place. It's in the rear of the Wentworth mansion. All the guest and workers are dressed up. The food is more towards game.

What a meal! Go with the win pairing. It's worth it, up until their specialty port. Too raisin-y for my taste. Menu changes, but if they happen to have the beef, plain as it seems, go with it!

Definitely a good restaurant. Go with a larger party and you can get the room to yourselves! Desserts! You have to save room for one... Maybe two. That. Good.

After visiting Middleton Place, Penelope went to Circa 1886 for Plantation Rice Rolls. A nod to Charleston's past, made from rice flour & served with whipped olive oil. A delicious starter.

Our menu changes with the season, but antelope is a permanent fixture. This summer Chef Marc Collins dreamed up an Antelope Schnitzel preparation. So delicious.

Expensive but the food was amazing--sweetbreads and halibut were winners. Try the Night Blossom cocktail straight up with the 'dirty ice' on the side to add as you wish.

Very good, but not great. Entree lacked flavor, but salad and dessert were delicious. Our server Peter was excellent.

If you get nothing else in winter '10-'11, get the pear souffle. I'll be back weekly for a cocktail and this until it's off the menu.
