    Beautiful 360 Views of the City and surrounding area. Going up the tower is not free though. Costs 5$.

    Been here 5+ times
    Stand at all 4 points around the tower, take pictures at eye level using the Dermandar app and create a 360 panorama of the entire city from Coit Tower. It's cool, you'll like it.

    It's funny that the Columbus statue is really different from the image that Europeans have of him. Great views!

    A round trip on the weekend will take an hour and a half. The breakdown will be: 30 min wait to go up, 5 min walking around at the top, 55 min wait to go down #oneslowelevator #derp

    The view is great just from the parking lot. Skip the lines to go to the top and just enjoy from the lot.

    Very limited parking available so utilize the SF Muni system. #39 picks up at Pier 39 and takes you straight there. $2 for the ride up!

    Nice hike up, but unless you go up the tower the views are mostly blocked by the surrounding trees. Very touristy.

    While it is an intense workout to get to the base, it is a great reward to take the elevator up and experience the view.

    Go up Telegraph Hill along any road approach instead of climbing the Greenwich Steps. You'll be glad you did. Instead, use the Steps as a short cut to the wharves.

    Worth the march up the hill. Best view of the city. Rude Chinese vendors though. You'd think for $7 a ticket they'd be a bit more polite.

    Interesting murals. You can pay admission to view the sunset at the top of the tower! Parking is limited.

    $8.00 for the elevator up. If someone says the stairs up are free...well there are stairs but just for the staff for emergency purposes.

    One of my favorite views of the city. Only open till 5 PM and the parking is limited, but it's worth it.

    Get to the top of the stairs and you get a fabulous view of Golden Gate and Bay Bridge! Tourists flock here but it's worth the wait.

    You can't get tickets to the top if the tower after 530 pm. Schedule your hike accordingly.

    Take the Muni (the 39) to the top of the hill. Way more convenient than the stairs.

    Worth the walk to the base but avoid paying for going up all the way to the top of the tower.
