- It's a Marriott, identical to every other Marriott you've been to. Not necessarily a bad thing: it's clean, well-equipped, courteous. The location - in the heart of the Financial District - wins.
- ArunDecember 29, 2014Friendly staff. Not all the city views are great, lots of construction going on around. Particularly, don't go for the Bay Bridge view unless you want to see buildings under construction. Great wifi.
- Carolyn ColesFebruary 25, 2014Surprisingly nice and cost effective hotel digs. Big rooms, great views and lots of 24/7 amenities.
- Eleanor RigbyJuly 10, 2017Nice hotel to stay in San Francisco, not a homeless area, and near is a train station you can take to go to the most popular places in San Francisco.
- AnthonyJuly 8, 2012Excellent location and within walking distance to many attractions. There is no self parking and valet is $45 a night. Wifi is pretty slow.
- Ann LopezFebruary 25, 2017It's a nice hotel in a great location. 8 minute walk to the bart station, across the street from various bus stops! Staff is great!
- Bennett W WongOctober 12, 2015Props for featuring Starbucks Coffee in the lobby level. Great spot for consumers to come in and purchase a cup of coffee and a pastry.
- Gavin McMillanSeptember 30, 2016Great price, nice hotel, excellent location. Airflow in the room was not the best, that is my only complaint. Loved the Starbucks in hotel
- Great location (walking distance to Oracle Park). Newly renovated rooms and lobby renovation to begin spring 2019.
- During the weekday head over to the secret deli across the street inside the office building with the fountains outside. Great breakfast burritos. Get the small. It is big enough. They also have SoBe.
- Mark GalvinJanuary 25, 2020Nice rooms and well located are positives. However negatives are that I was not aware at the time of booking that it was under massive construction to upgrade so a mess and also gym out of action.
- Laura RoggJune 9, 2017Very friendly staff. They bent over backwards to help us get a room earlier in the day than usual.
- Kevin DeLongFebruary 11, 2013I was here two years ago and the Internet was terrible. HOWEVER... The staff told me they recently updated it and I can honestly say it is the fastest hotel Internet I have ever used! Good job!
- AT&TSeptember 12, 2011Another great reason to stay here: AT&T Wi-Fi is one of the many amenities here for guests. It’s fast and easy to connect.
- The guest room TVs are crippled, so you can't fix the aspect ratio, but you can use channel 43 for your own HDMI input.
- Cynthia HMarch 14, 2013location is perfect - close to everything. Staff is courteous and friendly. Views are incredible!
- Super friendly staff, really accommodating. You can charge your phone at the front desk if you forget your charger!
- Nadine Estrella VacasJanuary 15, 2018They gave us a room where it was impossible to sleep. Next day the gave us a upgrade. Parking price was horrible almost $75 per day!! Nearby there is a parking by $33.
- Excellent WiFi and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended
- Noam "N.G." GordonOctober 9, 2012Ask for a cup of tea/coffee from the hotels Starbucks and seat at their nice lobby.
- Jennifer EvansApril 19, 2015Showed up late and was put in a handicap room. Difficult to shower and room had big windows that anyone could see into. A bit awkward
- Em CJanuary 3, 2021This is now the Clancy. Updated version of a hipper Marriott. Sam ownership just a new look. And better service it seems.
- Dewey HollemanMay 27, 2013Do not show up at Starbucks in the hotel near closing time at noon on the weekends (which is ridiculous in itself) and expect to be served, much less with a smile.
- Marijke W.January 11, 2013Lets see how long this stain is here room 1247. I found it first on Jan 9th 2013!
- Michael ClarkAugust 10, 2013Be prepared for no food after 10 pm in this area. The restaurants/bars may be open but most kitchens close by 10.
- Nice hotel but subpar fitness room, even by business hotel standards. Very hard to get a cardio machine in the mornings.
- The convenience store across the street is a lot cheaper than the hotel on all of their market items and is open late.
- Ask for room #s that end in -11, eg. 411, best layout and views
- Michael GoodmanJune 13, 2011Having a full Starbucks in the lobby is nice, but there's no wi-fi in the rooms and the bath towels are like sandpaper.
- Breakfast is 17.99. :( Bring an airport express with you to give you wifi in the rooms. Two computers for you to use in the lobby plus one boarding pass only one.
- Washer and dryers are on 15 & 17. The detergent is automatic and free. $4 of quarters for one load (wash and dry).
- Eric ZeugschmidtJuly 10, 2010When they say "wireless internet" is in every room, what they REALLY mean is that it's wired internet. Big difference!
- E ★October 31, 2010Wi-fi in the lobby only. No wifi in the room. Starbucks (it's an actual sbux, not a store that brews sbux coffee) inside the hotel is great.
- L TAugust 22, 2010Ethernet Cables are available at front desk and/or hanging in your closet in a bag. Wierd I know but it does the job.
- Citizen Space is just two blocks from here on 2nd Street
- Breakfast isn't complimentary! Prepare to spend between $15 and $17.
