Excellent farm to table options, affordable, very friendly staff. Best breakfast spot in the Pearl. If they have a hash/rice breakfast dish you must try it!

Perhaps because it’s tucked away on 13th street, the Daily is one of Portland’s hidden gems. One of my favorite low-key places for great food and conversations.
Great food here: breakfast, lunch or dinner. Lots of specials to choose from and they have Bakeshop pastries. Cheaper than most other places in the Pearl.- killer breakfast and lunch! if your coming for breakfast checkout the mushroom hash, sub the potatoes for diced bacon to get a killer Paleo dish!

The fish and chips are one of the more expensive items on the menu, but are worth it. Delicious!
I'll be honest and say I surrender. It's good food, but they can't handle the rush. To go orders are now 15-20 minutes on most days. Painful.
The Daily is still the best kept secret for dinner in the Pearl. If you're a regular for breakfast or lunch, definitely give it a go for dinner.

Great place but go early. The people who frequent the cafe around 10am are the epitome of snobby pretentious Pearlies.
Enjoyed a sandwich at lunch. Very relaxed atmosphere, good food.

Regular menu Mon-Sat (order at counter), but Sunday is Brunch (with full table service). Be sure to write your name on the list, then go to the counter for coffee while you wait for a table.
Alice LiNovember 21, 2012Breakfast hash with curry. OMG. Delish. Not overbearing at all. Light curry. Get it!- The service here seems to have improved greatly in the last few months. My server today, Shelley, is awesome.
- French toast is big and tasty. Cavatappi is great.
Great food and atmosphere, but don't come here expecting to work while you eat. The wifi never works.
Favorite breakfast spot I the Pearl. Best granola ever!- Food is great, but the speed is beyond awful even for simple dishes. If even slightly busy, then plan on a 20+ min wait.
Now open for dinner mon-fri 5-8, come in and try the handmade pasta special!
- According to Jo, this week's gnocchi special is dynamite—"Tastes like summer" was her quote.
