Matrayu FriedbergJanuary 21, 2012This is the only sub shop Ive ever found in LA that "steams" their subs (not toasts). Its kept me coming back for 15 years...that and the #31 hot with Bacon (hot means steamed)...best Turkey sandwich!
This place is AMAZING!! They have been here for over 30 years, the owners and staff are so friendly! Parking is a little sticky, it gets crazy around lunch and dinner

Everything here is amazing. My specific likes are the 500, Red Ferrari and LA Street Pastrami

Order by phone and you'll save a lot of time during lunch hour.
Lines can be long during lunch - call ahead to speed things up.
Best sandwiches in town. I recommend the hot roast beef with cheese. The pastrami is also amazing.
