Dave Palmer: Great sushi!! It is a little pricey, so be prepared to pay $12-14 per roll. Be sure to try the green globe. It's not on the menu, but it is fantastic if you like avocado.
Dave Palmer: Great Japanese cuisine and hibachi table seating. Their sushi is good. Upgrade to the filet, it is worth it. Kobe beef is incredible but expensive. The owner can be a jerk, but his staff is great.
Dave Palmer: Great service, and great sushi. Overall one of my favorite Sushi places locally. There is a movie theater in walking distance, so its a great place for dinner and a movie.
Dave Palmer: With hundreds of beers on tap, this place is a great stop. On top of that, they have the BEST creole food around. Don't miss the Gumbolaya, a combination of Gumbo and Jumbalaya and a Guiness float!

Dave Palmer: They have the BEST clam chowder in Monterey. If that's all you came for and want to save some $$, get it out on the pier. Otherwise go in for some incredible seafood. The Oysters Rockefeller rock!
Dave Palmer: The Chart House has some of the best seafood I have had. The lobster tail was so big it could have been a meal on its own. The steak is excellent, and the view is stunning. Be warned it is pricey.

Dave Palmer: Roosters has some great micro brews to try. Their food is also great. I recommend famous fish tacos, gorgonzola bacon burger, and their gorgonzola ale soup.None are complete without naughty fries.
Dave Palmer: Great sushi and a great price. If you like that, then how about half-priced sushi? Tuesdays a special menu with the majority of their rolls for half the price is available.

Dave Palmer: Food, beer, and a great movie? Sounds like a great plan for the night! Brewvies gives you all of that in one stop. The movies have usually been out for a while, but that's OK cause there is beer!
Dave Palmer: This is a great venue that offers an intimate concert feel with great sound. It continues to surprise me with the level of acts that they are able to attract to this smaller venue. Great place!
Dave Palmer: If you feel like Italian, this is a great pick. Be sure to try their Tomato Bisque soup. They tend to have slow service, so don't be in a hurry. The food is worth the wait.

Dave Palmer: It's an old locals' favorite and a great spot for Margaritas and Mexican food. Their food is authentic and good. They don't take check or card so bring cash. There is an ATM by the front door.
Dave Palmer: Home of the Big Ben, and a great place for greasy, tasty comfort food. Their shake menu is huge. Their burgers, fries and onion rings are tasty. It was featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives.
Dave Palmer: Some of the best steaks around are found at Maddox. They are closed on Monday, but open the rest of the week. No alcohol, but serves buffalo meet as well as home grown beef. Shrimp steak is great!
