Very kid oriented. Too much text and screens, not many artifacts. There were some interesting exhibits about life in the ddr.

2 rooms with a lot of interesting information about former DDR, nothing of historical value though, there is no space for deep details: it is a "commercial" museum, a tourists attraction.

It was interesting experience for me as USSR born guy. However I think that this place is not neutral as claimed. And I'm not idealizing DDR.

It is interesting but far too crowded to enjoy it and they kept selling tickets despite being full, not doing any effort to manage how many people are watching the exhibition at the same time

Take half an hour to visit the DDR-Museum and check in with foursquare to pay 4€ instead of 6€.

This is a tourist trap. They let in so many people at once it becomes impossible to see anything. It's just two rooms stuffed with ordinary objects of the period, nothing special to see. Avoid.

Seriously overrated museum. The "interactivity" of the exhibits is disappointing. Not one for the tourists. The locals found it fascinating and rightly so, but I left massively underwhelmed.
