- Brandon F.May 8, 2015Like gin? Try the Paper Tiger? Like more gin? Try Electric Alice. That minx. Drinkable orgasms.
- Tiffany SFebruary 10, 2010Everyone knows the drinks are amazing, but don't overlook the food. Order the mac and cheese -- it comes piled in 7 soup spoons, which makes for a fun eating experience.
- 2011 Winter menu must try: Hot Lips: Los Amantes joven mescal, jalapeño infused Chinaco verde, pineapple, lemon, vanilla syrup, cane syrup, salt rim.
- Unconventional tapas, in a dark and mysterious, chandelier and candle lit atmosphere. The doors outside and lack of windows makes this place difficult to find from the outside.
- NY WaterwayOctober 17, 2012Classic bartending style here! Entertaining to watch! Drinks are really good here too.
- Cocktail MagicMarch 21, 2016

- Dana HardyFebruary 12, 2011If you dig whiskey order the Blue Run Sling. All the wonderful whiskey flavors meld with a wonderful touch of sweet!
- Another solid speakeasy. Don't steal the menus, they will give you one if you ask to take it home.
- M JJuly 31, 2011Talk to bartender Joaquin if you want to know anything about anything or any amazing bar in the country! Loved it here!
- Lisa LinfordMarch 23, 2012Try the Sunset Gun it is absolutely incredible. Gin infused with a kick of basil, love it!
- EatocracyJune 10, 2010Cocktails are to die for at this East Village bar. Drinks like the Joy Division and the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test sparkle amid the Gothic loveliness of this cocktail manor.
- Zohreen AdamjeeMay 17, 2011Fletch is a cool doorman. Tried to help an injured pigeon in between letting ppl into the bar
- Go before 7:30pm on Sundays through Wednesdays. Sit at the bar. Don't trust the doorman's time estimates if he puts your name down--it's very hard to predict when people will leave.
- Ru LuOctober 25, 2014The estimated time the doorman gave us was right - about an hour around 11:30 pm on Friday. The interior was okay. The gate was cooler. Drinks okay, the service was great.
- Zohreen AdamjeeMay 17, 2011The toffee pudding here is out of the world-glad I chose it over the chocolate cake.
- Get the Truffle fries and the Southern Exposure drink. Jalapeño heaven!
- Moran BarMay 3, 2013Cool place, dressed up people. The cocktails are special and the food is good but in small portions.
- Kris ConstantelosNovember 6, 2014Great place, but if you love gin don't order the shortstop. Sounds good on paper. Tastes like leather.
- Elie KardousOctober 12, 2011awesome speakeasy in the East Village...amazing cocktails selection...I give it a solid 8
- Giovanni D'PalmaApril 18, 2016They have some seriously impressive cocktails but the service was lacking and since you have to wait to get in... It may not be worth it
