- AngelAugust 5, 2012Small piano bar. We went on a Saturday night and they had open mic. Since it's small, we didn't have to wait too long to sing. No cover, but they make up for it with drink prices.
- Oxana PlentinaMay 11, 2017Good staff and that's all. They brought pasta with seafood instead of seafood plate as it was written in menu for 29$. Wine wasn't enough good for 12$ per glass. And yep,18% tips. Not recommended!
- Jamie JayeAugust 14, 2015Went here for the 3 course $24 prix fixe because it sounded like a steal...but the salmon was SO small that I'm still hungry
- Elyse EstradaOctober 17, 2014Beat the post curtain rush to get a table or you'll be sat in the "secret back room". Tip the piano player & drink up cuz it's a sing-a-long! You're just as good as everyone else after a few cocktails
- Masha BakumaFebruary 2, 2015I love this place! Almost every Saturday night me and my friend go there to enjoy absolutely good live music playing by talented awesome people.
- Ty HouyDecember 14, 2014The bartenders singing while they make drinks is fantastic. TARA is amazing. Amazing. Mariah Carey who? And JOSH? Best piano man ever and overly entertaining in the comedy department as well.
- Lenny GalloOctober 7, 2023Still a classic/historic place to see local cabaret artists. Drinks are a bit pricy and it smells like a toilet, but free cover and fun shows.
- Mary Lou LandadioOctober 12, 2011Great spot near the theaters if u aspire to to be an actor go to the back and perform to your hearts content. U never know who will show up to perform.
- Andrew PerezFebruary 19, 2016Super fun, but if you want to have a conversation DON'T sit right in front of the piano. Also bring cash to tip the singers!
- Come in for a cabaret show or a lovely dinner and stay for the Piano Bar. Live entertainment every night at 9pm with a singing waitstaff and no cover in the main room
- The small room is an Excellent #cabaret space to play and watch
- MetroFocusDecember 6, 2011Experience true cabaret at Don't Tell Mama. Here nothing’s needed except the singer, the song, a musician or two, and the give & take of the crowd. Discover local spots for cabaret on MetroFocus Read more
- Inman NewsJanuary 6, 2012One of the favorite places of the Inman Team to go to - love the piano bar and their martini's are the best!
- Just fun and relaxing. Such a great team works there!❤️❤️
- ginnnnnnny 🦀March 1, 2019Honestly don’t think the pianist plays better than any of the street performers in NYC
- Lenny GalloJanuary 20, 2012This place is hit or miss, but I love that these cabaret singers are willing to express their souls to the public and test things out. Go support them.
- Mia AndersonSeptember 27, 2014Don't sit in the back room, no lighting & isolating. Great for open mic if you want to sing.
- Ryan BrodkinJune 13, 2012The Baked Fusili was delicious! Very light and enjoyable with just enough spice!
- PressRedMay 30, 2014Went here for an early evening cocktail at the bar. Atmosphere was good, but not so sure about the cocktails!
- Michaela TJune 10, 2012The new pianist in the back room thinks it's all about him. Don't bother putting requests in!
- Stacy CarrollMay 29, 2011Reasonably priced drinks in the theatre, fantastic shows - support local arts and do it!!
- ShelleyMarch 31, 2013Make sure not to call it Karaoke when the Bway pros are singing. They don't appreciate it!
- Aj BadderMarch 5, 2012Has the remarkable ability to make you feel young especially if you are aged 30 or less.
- Gina RobertelloMarch 26, 2011Great open mic place - if u want a good piña colada this is a good spot - sidecar? Nit so much.
- Lauren GundrumOctober 17, 2011Broadway performers, pianoman, and waitresses singing as they pour drinks :-)
- There is nothing like live entertainment! Don't Tell Mama's delivers it in spades
- Theresa RoldanJuly 10, 2016The crowd seemed a bit too mature, and the drinks were overpriced. $7 for just red bull?
- Lita LeaOctober 14, 2014Fun & talented performers, sour waitstaff. Come for the cabaret, not the food; it's mediocre at best.
