- GunelOctober 27, 2015Very friendly staff! You get your hot cookie upon check-in :) I got my free wifi in the room as there was some technical problem. Situated in the heart of Manhattan. very happy to choose this hotel
- Amy WardleMarch 3, 2018Amazingly comfortable beds . Small mix up with our room meant we got free drink coupons and WiFi . The only letdown was the bathroom . Bath had rust and was very low though the water was nice and hot
- CANDY @digital_sweetFebruary 28, 2012Great nail salon connected to Hotel called Tiffany's. Manicures only $12 for basic polish and the back massages are amazing for those sitting at a desk a lot. Worth it after a mani/pedi.
- Yee LauNovember 24, 2015Love that it's right by metro (6 train-51st). Also in 2 blocks it's the entrance for E and M train at 53/Lex ave. room is a bit small
- Alberto J S Moreau DMarch 25, 2016If I knew before conung that they put izone machines on the floors during the day I never had come, I am allergic to it... My eyes are blurry, crazy to make check out tomorrow
- Ahmad AlfilimbanyMay 17, 2016Old place but very comfortable. Try to stay in the upper floors to avoid all the noise in the street.
- Excellent location, three blocks from Rockefeller & Subway station at the corner. Don't forget to ask for The Cookie 🍪
- Antigoni KApril 8, 2017Thumbs up for the service! Nice interior and reasonable prices! Great location & tasteful cookie to welcome you! :))
- ReemNovember 14, 2014Just to let you know, they don't pick up when you call the reception :) you have to go all the way to them to ask for whatever you want ! I regret this stay 💔
- Sandra FoytJune 5, 2013Road warriors will appreciate the hotel bar's free WiFi, artisanal pizza, and inventive cocktails.
- Waleed 🇸🇦March 14, 2017Well-located hotel, 5 minutes walking to Fifth Ave. The room was clean. They didn't offer free WiFi in the room. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel.
- You can store your luggages but you should pay $2 per each bag, $1 when store $1 when return. They gave me a coupon for drink at the bar while waiting for the room but nobody was in the bar.
- Grace YoungOctober 31, 2013Got upgraded, room is beautiful! Also I LOVE doubletree toiletries, better than any other hilton property!
- Franco CalizFebruary 26, 2018Location is hard to beat and the beds are really comfortable. The shower was a total pain though (aimed towards the wall couldn't move it) and the TV barely functioned. Can't control your room temp!
- stephen randallOctober 17, 2011If you book via an online site Doubletree don't recognize the booking ref. So be armed with a copy of your booking or you'll end up having to book another room and paying twice.
- Great service and location. Welcoming cookies were yums! Rooms all differ slightly in layout. Good variety of neutrogena toiletries in toilet.
- Mike BowenMarch 31, 2010Visit the lobby of this hotel, enjoy a drink and free wifi access. Plenty of seating area and friendly atmosphere. Also many electrical sockets for laptops etc. Read more
- Ria DApril 26, 2011Doubletree cookies are awesome! Room service is a rip. If you need toiletries at night, you're better off going to Duane Reade. If you call, you'll get a voicemail and they may never call you back.
- A Michael PiperFebruary 17, 2014Wifi is $20/day! In rm 944 I was able to find a free network from nearby hotel.
- The staff has been wonderful. Room is a bit noisy as it is shares a wall with an elevator...
- Franklin at the main desk is wonderful! Thoughtful, knows the area, and can recommend a great restaurant to any preference.
- No in room mini bar but the souvenir shop on the ground floor has a good selection of snacks and drinks
- Ernesto GutiérrezMay 30, 2016Terrible attitude from the front desk staff and bellboys. Location is pretty good and the rooms are clean and have all you need.
- Laura DePasqualeSeptember 1, 2012Great location, great price, great cookies...and looks amazing since the renovations!
- Sandra FanJuly 6, 2012Check-in cookies are kinda chalky and have nuts--beware if you have allergies or, um, like good cookies.
- Karen at the front desk is extremely helpful and very friendly. Always stay at this hotel in NYC and have never been let down!!
- Best rates and hotel specials for Hilton honors guests at Hilton.com
- Sara AllenApril 27, 2014Decent stay...walked out on a doorman demanding cash to hold one tote bag. It felt good.
- Oh lord!!! Dont eat the cookie made with wheat, splenda and barley...where the sugar and flour at???
- I arrived at 2 pm but early check-in was not available. I went again at 3:30 pm, but the room was not ready yet and they told me I should wait forty minutes more.
- My home away from home in NYC. They get helping their guests who stay there. So... stay there. Read more
- Paris MartinAugust 16, 2013They don't lend umbrellas when it's raining. Sad that this common courtesy has been lost. Lack of coffee maker and fridge also disappointing, but the beds are comfortable.
- Great. Hotel - close to everything - get room on 51st side - not noisy at all
- Rooms decent. Terrible internet and of all hilton hotels in NY (and I have been to almost all) the worst service. Everyone here hates their job, possibly life completely. Convenient to grand central.
- great hotel, except when renovations are going on, the noise can become annoying.
- Reception at this hotel is the worst. Don't be fooled by the modern decor of the lobby, the treatment is more like the ghetto d o u b l e t r e e sign on the side of the building. No executive lounge.
- Michael CannoneJuly 26, 2018Dont charge $7.43 for two bottles of water, especially someone who stays with Marriott 90 nights a year who is testing your service
- Susan FassbenderOctober 28, 2012Worst Hilton property I have stayed at in years! No coffee maker in the room, rude service and awful breakfast. Add to that small cramped rooms that you can not move around in we will not be back.
- Keith PachulskiJanuary 7, 2015The room was dirty and the noise level made sleeping difficult. One of the few hilton hotels I world nor come back to.
