Family factor: the room in the back has games for kids to play. Bring your quarters! My kids recommend the kids burger or grilled cheese. For parents, you can't go wrong with burgers and beer.
A friendly restaurant by the Rockwell brown line stop. I loooove the fish tacos. Good beer selection and they are friendly to kids. The patio is great and allows dogs.
Family factor: The only good place to sit is in the beer garden. They have a pint-sized picnic table. My kids like their grilled cheese and I highly recommend the cajun veggie burger!
Family factor: entry to the play area is not cheap and is geared towards the new walkers or younger. The staff will supervise while you chat. Great coffee and ice cream selection.
Family factor: Avoid the busy times, or you'll be waiting in line forever and you're kids will be very unhappy. Go at 10:30 or after 2. They close for almost every holiday so check hours.
This place gets super crowded. Be prepared to wait or come at off-times if you want a seat. Otherwise, take your ice cream cones to go.
A bit pricey but the good is local and organic. Kids meals are $5-6, which is pretty average. Plentiful seating that isn't too cramped. The interior is really pretty. Service is spotty.
This place is best for take-out, but they do have a small amount of seating. We like stopping here on our way to or from Foster beach. Great chicken shwarma and falafel. Cash only!
My favorite thing about this place is it's wide delivery area! The best Thai place on the North side. Lots of stuff I haven't had the nerve to try plus the standard pad thai and thai curry dishes.
I don't care much for the food, but I haven't sampled much of it so take that with a grain of salt. I come for the beer, the music, and the atmosphere.
Nice little seating area in front for kids. Good coffee and excellent deserts. I love the red velvet cupcakes.
Delicious! My favorite is the Spicy Roscoe. This location has much more ample seating than the Roscoe Village spot. They often have live music.
Great food, great margaritas, and great service. Newly remodeled. Not too cramped and good for kids.
