One of my favorite less touristy places to hang out-make sure to stop by Delia's and get that Krispy Creme Chicken Sausage Sandwich- Start your day with a bookstore visit at Bound to be read, then Holy Taco for dinner and cap the night with cheap beer and a likely awesome band you've never heard of at 529

Chuck Norris was here. Seriously. A scene from the 1985 movie 'Invasion U.S.A.' was filmed in EAV along Flat Shoals involving a shootout between Chuck and the terrorists. Read more

grab some dinner at holy taco or any other restaurants then do a bar tour of eav: the earl, flatiron, graveyard, mary's, etc. then end up at grant central for a slice of pizza.
Be sure to check out the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market every Thursday from 2-8PM- Visit Rock Star Gold, 529, Joes coffee, & Grant Central East....love those places.
