- Geraldine Gonzales-EngleApril 27, 2016The margaritas are excellent! The outdoor seating was perfect. The Carne Asada plate was plenty. We were a party of 5 and ordered a quest dip and guacamole dish. It was enough for all of us.Upvoted Aug 15
- Local Houston MagazineAugust 3, 2014My favorite way to have it: a little dip in queso with a dollop of guacamole on top. It isn’t healthy (if you’re eating queso, you know this) but it’s highly recommended. Read more
- Kenyetta DanielsFebruary 8, 2015The tacos are delicious...the longest hard shell tacos I've ever seen and the portion size is large enough to where you can save the rest for another meal. The margaritas are flavorful and strong!! 👍
- Been coming here for years & never disappointed. Favorites include chile en nogada, shrimp diablo chalupa with the cabbage slaw and fajitas. House margaritas are just dandy, you can taste the tequila!

- Andrea RobertsOctober 12, 2015Wow! Fajitas are the best! And the service is top notch! Ceviche was so yummy and fresh. Highly recommended!!
- Ivonne GonzalezSeptember 19, 2014Had the Parrilla Salad, good, very fresh, wasn't crazy about the dressing (tamarindo mole sauce), ask for it on the side. They drenched the salad in it.
- Dyana L.April 24, 2016I love the Las Vegas plate. You can have a bit of everything. Their black beans are so yummy!
- Ricky AAugust 26, 2017Cheap, filling, margaritas. This, and the other local El Tiempo's are what you want in Tex Mex
- Optimize your meal: chorizo in your queso and old school fried pork carnitas! It can serve 3 people :)
- Steve ChavezSeptember 5, 2013Best margaritas anywhere, and...get the deluxe parillada. Expensive, but damn its good
- CultureMap Houston ManagerMarch 6, 2012Start any meal with the superstar shrimp and mango campechana with avocado and basil. Really hungry? Go all out with a parillada.

- Andrew GorznySeptember 30, 2015Awesome, authentic food. Generous portions. Get an enchilada- any of them. They're good.
- Mike LargeSeptember 3, 2012Crab nachos were amazing. Fajitas were solid, margaritas very mediocre unless you like the various sugary flavors they have to add.
- Michael LombardinoAugust 19, 2016Everything is always outstanding here and remains consistent between locations.
- They have brought back the valet car wash, it used to be $20 for a fantastic job, now it's $12. Give the valet a $20, have a clean car, and make a valet's day!
- Their food is renowned but it’s their friendly service and margaritas that set it apart.
- Fajitas are the best - get half and half, so you can try chicken and beef!
- Best Mexican in Houston hands down. Quality ingredients instead of slop on a plate.
- Ed UthmanJuly 25, 2010Excellent food and service. For breakfast today I had flautas stuffed with potatoes. They bring you two, but one is plenty, so you can take the other home.
- The beef fajitas are the best I've ever had! A 1/2 pound is enough for 2 people
- Christopher CarrDecember 3, 2013Here for lunch alone and they seat groups before me. Had to yell at them to get a table. I will be texting the manager from the table.
- Sherrill BaggettNovember 22, 2013Try the beef filet fajitas! They're a little pricey but worth every penny!

- Are you not a fan of Mexican Food but are here? Order the Pechuga Tropical. It tastes like Mexican/Asian fusion. Delicious.
- I've never ordered anything here that I didn't like. The regular frozen margaritas are so good you won't need to order top shelf.
- Aaron CrewsApril 7, 2010Chicken fajitas might be the best in the city. Not busy and great for large parties on Sunday evenings.
- Charles TabangcoraJanuary 4, 2011Can't go wrong with the Fajitas. Definitely try them out. Also the guac is pretty good.
