- Jim ContorisJuly 29, 2016The food is authentic and delicious. Burritos are huge. I saw several complaints about the service in others reviews. Our server was excellent. She was friendly, attentive and fast. Excellent meal.
- As a huge fan of Chipotle, this place was infinitely better than the fast casual chain. The "fork & knife" burritos are a must, and not too badly priced (about 10 bones). You can't beat fresh!
- The tacos are generously sized and just $3. Get the carnitas and one of their creative cocktails and the iffy service won't faze you. Closest thing to authentic Mex this side of La Milpa.
- The street corn appetizer is incredibly good! It comes with two ears, not just one. Also, the $3 endless chips with three salsas is a great idea. The habanero salsa is the hottest and tastiest.
- Kat StaggersNovember 6, 2021the carnitas were heavenly. incredible food, chill atmosphere, & great staff! can’t recommend enough for a late night bite to eat
- Angie TeeJanuary 22, 2017Their soy chorizo taco is a must-try for vegetarians. I really enjoyed their thick-cut tortilla chips, and the salsas were tasty. Nice ambiance too
- Bryan MortensenMay 18, 2015Pretty inexpensive, but very good. Taco meat choices are broad. Salsas are authentic, if not a little too spicy. Service is subpar, but the atmosphere of the dining area makes up for it. Beach vibe.
- abigail.August 9, 2016Chips and tomatillo salsa are great. The roasted pepper salsa and habanero salsa were both a bit sweet for my taste. Good sized burrito but I would say skip the soy chorizo.
- The tacos are on par with Richmond's other establishments. En Su Boca's patio is the real star. Also, great salsa selection.
- Julia PeelerSeptember 13, 2013The multiple salsas and guacamole with the chips is a great starter. Beware of the pork, it's super spicy!
- Pretty good. Considering tacos as a traditionally "cheap eat", you're overpaying here. Carnitas & pollo asada tacos have great flavor. Carne asada tacos meh, ok. Try Taqueria Panchito (southside) 👊
- fried fish tacos are by far the best ... delicious salsa verde. corn tortillas though
- Jon EckertJuly 26, 2013Working out the kinks but with any new restaurant that's expected. Our server was amazing even with all the craziness. Food was fantastic but the service was exceptional.
- Em JoJune 10, 2014Excellent happy hour 4-7pm and happiest hour from 5-6pm! The quesadilla is only $6 on Tuesdays and is plenty to split between two.
- I took a better picture this time. Service was so much better this time too! Habanero salsa really isn't that spicy though /-:
- Angela LynnOctober 28, 2017The cocktails are amazing, the tacos are incomparable. Our favorite hangout definitely
- RVANewsJuly 31, 2013We love the tender carne asada and spicy house-made chorizo tacos, both of which are covered in a tasty salsa verde.
- If you are in RVA and in the mood for tacos. Stop here! :)
- All the tacos were tasty! And the music was awesome... MJ, Sade, Cameo, Bootsy... and tacos!
- Mimi B.August 22, 2013Yummy. Best TexMex in RVA. Spicy HOT habanero sauce rocks. Ask for server Alex (cute blonde w tats)
- Margaritas are usually solid. Tacos are good. Street corn is amazing.
- Richmonder Player1July 24, 2013The burrito is the size of a new born niño. It has chunks de guac too. Buen provecho!
- Donnie GladfelterOctober 26, 2014Really enjoyed the pork burrito. Found it to be more flavorful than hot/spicy.
- Pretty great place for their second night open. Looking forward to returning.
- Stephanie ShafferSeptember 20, 2015Good food. Was very disappointing and distracting to see kitchen staff eating IN the kitchen--where the food is prepared. Gloves on and all.
- Great happy hour specials daily. Get the fish tacos.
- This place has the best cocktails! The quesadilla is awesome too.
- Real Mexicali tacos. Decent draft beers solid bar. Seems to be slammed every day with a typical Richmond hipster waitstaff entirely underwhelming.
- Daniel PeelFebruary 7, 2015Not overly so, but a lot of stuff here is spicy. So if you are weak tongued then tread carefully. Very tasty food
- Tacos. That's all you need to order. Everything else is irrelevant. NOM!
- L.F. RuizAugust 11, 2013The pork tacos were good. Service staff was excellent except for the I attentive bartenders. The food is fine but missed the mark. Drinks are very over priced. Good concept bad execution.
