eric bornemann: Might this be the best Mexican restaurant in LA? Incredible rich moles (try all 3) and the chili nogada is outstanding. Carne asada is fantastic and we love the back patio. Well worth the drive.

eric bornemann: Good food if a bit pricey for upscale pub grub. Good beer selection but the staff is a little stressed out. Like the Brussel sprouts and mac and cheese.

eric bornemann: It’s all about the ruby chicken. Very good and takeout is so easy. Great cozy meal in for a last night in London.

eric bornemann: Fine modern pub with a great view of the river from outside if you can grab a table. Chicken and ham pie is good as is the fish and chips. Go right before noon to get a table.

eric bornemann: Probably one of the best views and outdoor terraces of any pub. Have a pint and watch the ships come in. Food is good and the smoked fish plate works great. Fantastic place at sunset.

eric bornemann: Nice spacious brewery with good and varied beer choices. Nice to do a sampler. Not open late.

eric bornemann: Incredible food at very high quality in a cozy pub setting. If they have the pork jowl spacial it is a must as it was stupendous. Not a wrong note in the meal. A must if staying in Canterbury.

eric bornemann: Nice very old historic pub with nice courtyard. The fish and chips are the standout here along with the prawn salad. Good wine list, but wish the beer was more extensive.

eric bornemann: Pretty darn good elevated pub grub. Standouts are the trout rillet, chicken Kiev, incredible hispi cabbage, and the burger with insane chips. Cocktails are delicious. Day of reservations only.

eric bornemann: Beautiful woods to walk thru with sculptures and fun play structures and trails hidden down various paths. Just ramble and explore and be sure to go down by the river.

eric bornemann: Nice formal garden, love that it’s now a giant vegetable garden.

eric bornemann: Nice memorial to WW1 solders and final resting place for some. A moving place but can be kind of creepy at night.

eric bornemann: Surprisingly good shop with nice gifts, local spirits and tons of gardening stuff.

eric bornemann: Great place for kids to burn off some steam.

eric bornemann: So much fun and a bit trickier than you expect it to be. Plan a good 15 minutes to fully enjoy and no cheating by using your phone.

eric bornemann: Great views back to the main house from here. Be on the lookout for cars.

eric bornemann: Incredible and vast country house with amazing gardens and wonderful walking paths by the river. The maze is fun and the house stupendous. Stay if you can.

eric bornemann: Great and interesting patterns and fabric for high end men’s shirts and suits. Staff is very friendly. Super old school pasadena.
