Great location (Close to expressways, including the Thruway), Polite staff, comfy rooms, free WiFi, free & convenient parking. What's not to love? HGI is a great chain - this branch is no exception.

They have free cookies in the lobby and the staff is so nice and friendly and if you have a special request like I did (which was to have a non-ground floor room) and they listen to your request.

We stayed here our wedding night and it has become our regular spot when visiting. Nice staff, clean rooms, sweet pool & a decent gym.

Make sure to book with time, it's a very busy location, right next to UAlbany.
