David WAugust 23, 2015Their burgers and their "grilled cheese of the week" are decent. But for an ale house the know very little about beer. The waitstaff can't answer questions about the beer beyond what is on the board.
The two times I have been to the First Street Alehouse, they have had Russian River, Pliny the Elder on draft. The food is good and the selection of beer is very good!

Keep it simple -original Alehouse burger with cheese and the Scrimshaw Pilsner draught.
Always busy - and everybody gets a Tootsie Pop when they eat here. You can get a side of soup instead of fries or salad for 1.99 and it's a HUGE! Good w/ grilled cheese.

Salad? Yes, the "Black & Blue" TriTip and Bleu cheese and an IPA...get this!
Don't get the calamari appetizer. Real dud, but the veggie spring rolls and chili are good.
