Love the smallness of TYS...makes it easy for the elderly to manage.
Good airport. It just takes a few minutes to get over the strip searches. Man I hate those.
All the restaurants close at 7. Only way to get food is to walk to the Hilton...but don't stay too long. Security gate closed at nine. Ugh

Sit and stare at the cascading pools in the concourse entry
Since bringing in Frontier, ten minutes for security is a thing of the past.
Never having to wait more than 10 minutes for security makes TYS a win!
The vending machines are really reasonable - for an airport.
They finally have backscatter screening - no more patdowns!
