- Big neighborhood coffee shop with plenty of space to work. An Ethiopian pour-over and morning glory muffin will start your weekend off right.
- Ed GeorgeAugust 23, 2014Had a great coffee here when we visited SF; one of the best few. Nice place but the atmosphere was rather cold and the limited places to sit were taken up by people silently pawing at their macbooks.
- eifehJuly 22, 2016Good coffee shop to get work done. Lots of seating. Free Wi-Fi; although, it only works for 2 hours at a time then has to be renewed (doesn't work well in the back). Coffee is good. Service is good.
- Mazanin FMarch 8, 2020One of the best coffeeshops in SF. The coffee is well extracted and has a great combination of sourness and bitterness from extraction, and the right amount of sweetness from the milk.
- Stephanie BonoJuly 25, 2017Cold brew in mason jars, great pastries and biscotti, lots of seating, trendy and laid back atmosphere, and a back patio if you'd like to enjoy your coffee al fresco :)
- Christopher LongJune 16, 2015The Ethiopian pour over is nutty and rich. Well worth ordering if they have it. The very berry buttermilk cake and the flourless brownie are both very good.
- Alex ChowSeptember 30, 2019Gorgeous open setup with great single-origin roasts. Upper end for price but a small menu done properly. They serve their nitro cold brew like a beer and I like that. Also has a cool little patio
- Alex LeungJanuary 27, 2014Siphon coffee = $5. They served me their Kenya roast: amazing sweetness - a citrus after taste when I let it cool down a bit (as instructed by barista). Drink black is a must to enjoy to fullest!
- Bennett W WongApril 30, 2021Friendly staff, good service, and a great spot to get a cup of coffee. With Whole Foods Market next door, it’s even easier to get that grocery run done.
- The quality is great but so is the ambiance. If you want low key well lit nice music to go@with your caffeine you’ll feel right at home
- Love this place. Good WiFi, good coffee that is not overpriced, great music. It's become my favorite place to work from in the city.
- Love protein power bars and cappuccinos here! Sometimes hard to find a seat, but it's nice to sit inside or out in the little backyard.
- Adam MasonJuly 2, 2013Great service. Really liked the cold brew in a Mason jar (go figure). Had the Malawi on a Syphon brew, pretty tasty. If I attended or worked at USF, I'd probably live here.
- always friendly baristas, always delicious coffee = my go-to coffee spot in the haight. order an espresso+cappuccino!
- Good space for working. Has multiple outlets. Wi-Fi is ".FogFreeWiFi", no password.
- Jess FalkenthalFebruary 26, 2018Nice selection of coffee brewing methods. Almost the entire place is filled with people on laptops and they require you to purchase something every 2 hours to keep your wifi connection.
- MehrJanuary 22, 2013The mason jars for water are really cute! Great music and light chatter make this a great coffee shop to spend the afternoon.
- John NoenickxApril 4, 2013Hands down, best coffee in the Haight. Every cup is brewed individually, just for you. Lots of cool decor. Great place to bring the laptop and get some work done.
- I'm here of necessity about once per month. Always the same. Vibeless space full of dour faces staring at screens, drinking decent coffee.
- valentin burovJanuary 28, 2015Great coffee, vibe, decor, location, pricing, and wi-fi. If a star is awarded per requirement, looks like I went over. My favorite cafe in the city :^)
- One of my favourite coffee shops. Good wifi, good coffe and huge pastries/pie selection. Perfect for getting some work done.
- Jonathan CarrollFebruary 18, 2015Baristas are quite friendly; great alternative to Blue Bottle for siphon method. They roast their own beans on premise.
- In a city filled with fantastic coffee, this one leads the way. Unlike those other coffee shops, Flywheel is completely void of douchey employees. Fantastic place.
- Awesome location! Stop by for coffee after a run or stroll through Golden Gate Park or the Panhandle.
- Coffee is great, staff is friendly and pastries are all amazing (hard to pick!)
- Ting SDecember 10, 2015Love my drip and the window seat where I can enjoy the park view. Typical cool SF coffee shop.
- Great coffee. A lot of flavor. They roast the beans in-house. Good work atmosphere. Highly recommended!
- Jon ManningMarch 12, 2014The Gibraltar is delicious! Wifi requires you to like them on Facebook or provide an email address, but is otherwise pretty good.
- Alex DobyanFebruary 17, 2018Coffee is good to the point where it's kind of lost on me. This place doesn't try to hide the fact that people come to work and offers OK wifi (with a time limit) and a functional number of outlets
- BommyDecember 12, 2014A gem! Lovely pourover coffee, plenty of outlets, and best of all, it's quiet and calm.
- Espresso based drinks are pretty good by my very high standard.
- Alexandra RapazziniOctober 23, 2015Free wifi, delicious pour over coffee. Great for a work from coffee shop day!
- c bAugust 4, 2012one of the few places outside north beach where you can get a dark italian-style espresso
- They have gluten free muffins here that are pretty reasonably priced and tend to sell out by late morning.
- Koji KOMATSUMarch 6, 2016My favorite coffee shop in San Francisco. Great coffee and cool atmosphere.
- 3 coffees, all pour over, plus a bunch of other options. Best place in the neighborhood.
- Connie ChenFebruary 1, 2015Such a chill spot, lots of nice daylight in the front but places to hide in the back as well.
- Abhishek KonaDecember 27, 2016They make you give them all your information and your first born to get on the god damn wifi. They just have teabag tea - put scalding hot water in a bag - is pretty shit bro.
- Paul BurditchDecember 16, 2012They grind their own coffee with a modern gorgeous roaster imported from Portugal that you can view in the back.
- Anthony MaggioAugust 10, 2014Good spot for working or studying. Calm and relaxing with nice park views
- Get a siphoned brewed coffee and watch the alchemist work his magic.
- Cody HardAugust 14, 2014Iced coffee tasted (and smelled) like burnt popcorn. Patio is gorgeous, but small, and the wifi doesn't reach out there. Near the entrance the wifi is great, though, at ~16mbps.
- Chris JenningsMay 23, 2013Get the peanut butter protein bar and sit by the window for front row seats to the bum fights outside!
