Tasting Room, Family Meal, Volt: in a different league. SRB - RIP, you were awesome. Honorable mention: Wine Kitchen. Notable: Nola, Ayse. BBQ: Blues, Black Hog. Some outside of downtown Frederick.

Austin: Pay attention to the fish specials; they can be amazing (hoping for John Dory). Always know the filet mignon competes with, or surpasses, any of the familiar chains (e.g., Morton's, Ruth's, The Palm).

Austin: RIP SRB. Unfortunately, something will replace it that has shitty food, shitty service, and generic bar offerings - and it will be packed. So sad. SRB, easily one of the best places this town had.
Austin: The best breakfast spot in Frederick. FM is also a good option for lunch and dinner. FM helps make the point that downtown Frederick is THE place for better food. One of Frederick's best.

Austin: Years removed from 2011, John has brought the wine list into a very admirable place. The staff are phenomenal, as then, and the food is destination worthy. WK, keep up the good work.
Dan Oldham: Sunday brunch isn't cheap ($25) but it is amazing. Includes a Mimosa or bloody mary and lots of great food (including crab eggs, crab dip and crab soup).
Dan OConnor: We were married here in 2005, and people still talk about how awesome our wedding was. Check this place out for good food, good booze, and a quiet peaceful stay.

Derek Huether: The food flavors are simple but very good. The cocktails are reasonably priced and generous in size. I recommend you park in the garage and walk there, rather than than trying to find parking.
Austin: Good atmosphere, good service, underwhelming food and limited wine selection. Better than a Friday's and not even close to a Houston's. The bar is great and beer choices are very good.

Austin: The dinner menu attempts to cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner in one fell swoop. The food offered has an organic aura but tastes processed and is served excessively hot. It's a bit peculiar.
