Our Wines

Foppiano Vineyards' premier location, combined w/ our foundation of core family values, has allowed us to produce quality wine for over 100 years. Since 1896, our sustainably-farmed estate vineyards have produced ripe, expressive fruit, enabling our award-winning wines to speak for themselves vintage after vintage. Our estate Petite Sirah, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay vineyards thrive in the temperate climate of the Russian River Valley, an American Viticultural Area Louis J. Foppiano helped to establish.

2010 Estate Chardonnay

The cooler vintage produced an invigorating, Chablis-like Chardonnay w/ lively acidity & loads of citrus & stone fruits. Aromas of peach, lime rind, tangerine & orange blossom follow on the palate, along w/ a refreshing minerality, green apple & a toasty vanilla notes on the finish.

2009 Estate Pinot Noir

California fruit w/ an old world austerity. Aromas of violets, red cherry launch into an elegant, fruit-forward cornucopia of cherry cola, raspberry & vanilla on the palate. Well-integrated acidity & smooth tannins make this a food friendly wine.

2009 Estate Petite Sirah

Our signature bottling. Blackberry & dark chocolate aromas w/ a touch of anise & white pepper. This robust yet elegant wine is full-bodied w/ black cherry, blueberry, hints of toasted hazelnuts & sweet vanilla. Well-managed tannins produce a long, silky finish w/ luscious black fruits to the end.

2010 Estate Sauvignon Blanc

An invigorating wine w/ lively acidity & loads of citrus fruit. Aromas of green grass, grapefruit & orange blossoms give way to stone fruit & lemon-lime on the palate. A refreshing, food friendly wine. 30% off!

2010 Estate Rosé

This dry rosé represents the two red grape varietals that Foppiano Vineyards prides itself on: Petite Sirah & Pinot Noir. This unique blend gives a beautiful aroma of strawberries, fig, & orange blossom. Ripe strawberry & raspberry on the nose burst into bright red cherry, citrus, fig & a hint of creamy vanilla.

2009 Lot 96 Petite Sirah Sonoma County

On the nose, blueberries, dark chocolate & black cherry are the predominant aromatics w/ a touch of floral & spice. Tastes smooth, fruity & very approachable w/ ripe blackberry, plum, blueberry & red cherry. Has well- integrated, supple tannins balanced w/ a strong backbone of acidity & fruit.
