    The WNC Nature Center is a well-established zoo featuring wildlife native to the local area. The nature center is AZA accredited. Prominent exhibits include river otters, cougars, & red & gray wolves.

    For people with kids in east Asheville - an annual membership is affordable a and great value. This place is basically like a zoo specializing in NC native animals and plants. Read more
