- Katie BOctober 1, 2013request a room near an elevator. the place is huge and your room will likely be very far away.
- Ananda LeekeOctober 24, 2011We chose not to move to another room since it was about 1:00 am and we were leaving very early in the AM and had no energy to pack up all of our stuff. So our bill was reduced by $100.
- Keith MillerJuly 29, 2017Rooms overpriced, not the quality I expected. Most of the shops, were close by 5 on a Friday night. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance
- Checkout all the locations in and out of the resort before picking a place to eat
- FairWarning, Inc.May 22, 2013FairWarning is exhibiting & presenting educational & product sessions throughout @MUSEweborg conference. See us @ Booth 622 @MEDITECH May 28-31

- Ananda LeekeOctober 24, 2011The Gaylord Shuttle to the King Street Metro is a hot mess & filled with drama. It was 40 minutes late yesterday morning. Staff tried to tell me the schedule had changed, but I checked earlier.
- Karl BrennemanMarch 6, 2011Nice hotel and view, avoid the breakfast buffet as it's the largest ripoff in the area. $15 for a continental breakfast where all of the bread products were stale.
- Bruce HumphreyFebruary 17, 2011Watch out for the bed legs, due to a silly design you'll find yourself walking into them or stubbing your toes on them
- American Cosplay ParadiseMarch 8, 2011Teach Me Koi Koi Lady! Learn how to play Hanafuda on 2/19/2011 at the FUNimation Booth inside of Katsucon as seen in the hit movie Summer Wars Read more

- AnimeCons.comJanuary 21, 2012After attending Katsucon, don't forget to submit a link to your convention report to AnimeCons.com!
- Keonté SmithDecember 28, 2011The elevators take some time on the south side. Use the stairs if you're able.
- It's a great site for a conference, beautiful rooms, great food, wonderful location.
- Jamie JuncosaMarch 17, 2017Location is about the only good thing. The pillows are those cheap full of lumps pillows. Slept terrible and here for a work meeting so now I am exhausted but need to be on.
- Ananda LeekeOctober 24, 2011I complained about the absence of heat and hot water in the bathroom sinks many times on October 21 and 22. No one ever addressed the complaints in person.
- The White HouseDecember 24, 2011President Obama gave remarks at the 71st General Assembly of the Union for Reform Judaism. Read more
- Carol Richards-TsiamesMarch 28, 2012Heres another tip for this place....i get the breakfast buffet..because you dont have a choice...eggs looked fake..so I ordered the omelet...you have to pay extra for the omelet!! Omg...
- Ananda LeekeOctober 24, 2011After my Sunday shuttle drama experience and weekend without heat or hot water in bathroom sinks at the Gaylord National, I began tweeting about the poor service. I will post a review onYelp.
- EU HunterOctober 19, 2010Towels, towels, and yet more towels! So good to find a hotel these days nit afraid to wash towels daily!
- Keonté SmithDecember 27, 2011Make sure you ask questions before standing in a long line. There are a lot of employees walking around who can assist you.
- Stacey WittigOctober 25, 2013Don't accept a room that faces the atrium...lots of noise from guests and maintenance during the night.
- Chris MerkelDecember 28, 2012The rooms are definitely not worth this price, at any season. This is the same quality you would get at a Day's Inn, not remotely close to the quality of Vegas or Disneyworld. This is not a resort.
- MaryJune 8, 2019Don’t order room service. Ordered their market classic and cracked egg sand white h and both were not edible. Mine was served with moldy bread. Walk to the Starbucks.
- Eat at the coastal cuisine restaurant inside the resort. You get cotton candy with your check!
- Def try to get a room by elevators. Hotel is laid out awkwardly and will take time to get oriented.
- Gregory McGillJune 24, 2011I was here last weekend for a friend's college graduation. It is a nice place . lots of things to do
- Ananda LeekeOctober 24, 2011My last post -- I will never stay at the Gaylord again. I hope management uses the Nordstrom model of customer service, revamps its shuttle service, and trains staff to show up when guests complain.
- Enjoyed running around the Potomac River from the hotel across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Awesome hotel
- If you checked in luggage, the line gets long when a conference gets out.
- Marina WaltersMay 7, 2011Staff are called Stars-they are! If you anything from them just ask-they excel at customer service
