The cinema has often used the Garbatella as a backdrop with it appearing in, among others, "Caro Diario", "Romanzo Criminale"... it was selected as the setting for a popular TV series, "I Cesaroni"

This beautiful little chocolate-box of a theatre hosts an interesting range of performances plus the occasional concert or ballet. A gem.
Opening hours: 16-22. Boring museum, not much to see. The bamboo tower was awesome to climb though (it's free). Museum entrance is €6, way too much for the small exhibitions...
