My kids absolutely LOVE this aquarium. But I think I have more fun than they do lol... not to mention I see a celebrity there everytime I visit. Don't forget to see the 3D show!
Purchase tickets in advance and pick up at will call. This routes you around crazy long lines. And try not to complain about the prices at the food court as all profit goes back into the livestock.
Did you know that the operational systems in the Georgia Aquarium include enough pipe to more than encircle Atlanta on the I-285 loop. That's 61 miles! We love this aquarium - it's a must see!
The Georgia Aquarium is the second largest aquarium in the world and showcases more than 100,000 species. It’s also the home of the great musical show, AT&T Dolphin Tales.

Within Pemberton Park is the biggest aquarium and the largest individual tank in the world. Watch the sharks swim above your head in the 6.3 million gallon saltwater tank in the Ocean Voyager Exhibit.
The Ocean Voyager exhibit is by far the coolest part of the aquarium, but it gets packed. Skip to the end of the exhibit where there is a large viewing window and a lot less of a crowd

The dolphin show was a little cheesy. But the penguin crawl through is amazing! Don't forget to pet the sharks and other animals in front of the Georgia Explorer.
This aquarium holds 38 million liters of water, making it the second-largest aquarium in the world. Its 60 tanks are home to some 100 000 animals of 500 different species
Head to the world’s largest aquarium this summer. Situated in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the Georgia Aquarium offers a dolphin show, petting underwater life and more.
Dolphin show was fun! Sit in the first few rows..you don't get very wet. Go to the first show then when the other two shows are in session the aquarium is cleared out and you can walk around freely.
So much fun! Free entry on your birthday. So much to see and do. The only bad thing was how uncomfortable the seats were at the dolphin show. Not impressed.
Skip the crowds and the kids by wandering into the ballroom. There are two tanks there that let you see the whale sharks from the big tank and the beluga whales on a more intimate level.
You will have the Time of Your Life.. It wasn't packed and the shows start eveyy 30 min. or hour.. You will have time to do everything..Then head over to the World Of Coca-Cola..Friendly Staff!!..
