From an Italian: the best pasta I had in nyc. Better than many other Italian restaurants that are more expensive than Giano. Try rigatoni all'amatriciana and rigatoni with ragú truffle cheese

Squid ink risotto - looks big but tastes so compelling u'll inhale it. Orange soy glazed pork was really tender and delicious too. For a light-ish dessert, go for the chocolate napoleon.

Pasta dishes here taste like they are fresh made. I had the spinach and ricotta ravioli and meatballs, both were really good!

Why would you bring your own bottle of wine to an Italian restaurant run by Italians? The list is quite extensive for a little place. Just saying.

Not revisiting. Fried calamari, spaghetti dish and the filet mignon were all way too salty. The option 3 dessert called the "chef's interpretation" needs major reinterpretting because it was awful.

Don't get stung by the $25 corkage fee! They'll expect you to buy a few bottles of their own wine if you expect them to waive the fee.
