My heart is SO happy! The reviews said Gila's was lovely, & they were all right! I came for the minty iced tea & ordered wrong and she changed it without a blink! The spinach pie was delightful too!

Gila's a wonderful soul who puts love in her food every time. I have been here countless times. I cannot say enough about how at home I am here. Delicious food. Love this woman!

A great, little restaurant in a neighborhood with very little creative lunch options. It is run by a small Israeli woman and her son who are as friendly as their food is delicious! Get anything!

Don't overlook this. Classic Jewish and Israeli home cooked food. The owner Gila is as sweet as can be. She will welcome you into her home. They host shabbat dinner on Fridays too for $25 a person.

this place is the best! the "nosh" sandwich mixes together two of my favorites: egg salad and avocado. Gila is a talented and wonderful lady. a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

Falafel is probably the best in the city. So is hummus - they make it carefully, healthily and with love. And it great to meet the cook in person!

Awesome falafel - crispy and surprisingly smooth on the inside. Upside down coffee (basically a latte) has a great smoky taste. Soy milk available!

Really authentic Israeli/Jewish cuisine. You'll feel like you're eating at a relative's house.

Small cozy place, yummy breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Quaint and very "New York". Good place for a casual meal.

The upside down coffee was the smoothest cup of cappuccino I’ve had in the city. Food was great as well.

Try the Nosh small plates special if you like variety. Great for splitting when paired with an entree. Egg plant was so flavorful, humus was thick and delicious. Falafel is light and comforting.
