One of the more beautiful music venues in SF. It can get very hot and stuffy on summer nights but during the fall it's perfect. Drinks are cheap and some of the house cocktails are really fun.

My favorite venue in San Francisco. Get early for balcony seats or just to get close to the stage. Great food as well, share a sundae, it's friggin' huge! Upstairs bathroom is more convenient btw.

You can get a 3 course meal and premium seating (which is rad) just get there before the show so you aren’t trying to eat your salad while others are rocking out near you.

If you can get a seat downstairs, do that. It's hard to see from the balcony unless you're in the front row. Beautiful historic building!

It was years after I had moved to SF and seen a few shows at GAMH that I realized I recognized it from a Robin Williams concert I'd seen on HBO. Beautiful still. One of my favorite venues in SF.

An extremely intimate venue to catch rising stars and the side projects of established acts. The immediate surroundings are pretty desolate after the show in the post pandemic era.

Beautifully and intricately crafted balconies, marble pillars, and a small stage. Catch a great-sounding unplugged show, or prepare for hearing loss on any night when the indie rock bands roll in.

If you're attending with someone with a disability, talk to the staff - they were super helpful and let us sit in the paid dinner section even though we didn't pay extra for the dinner ticket.

Nice spot to see a show, but the bar is annoying! Each person who wants a drink has to stand in line. This is not efficient and makes it super crowded. Also, their drinks are weak.

II used to love GAMH. Recently I spraining my left ankle badly. I was treated unbelievably rudely by the staff. It is shocking that an injured customer would be allowed to leave
