Gorgeous property, awesome learning opportunity. House is beautiful, but tours need a lot of interpretive updating. Worth the visit though for the gorgeous creek side trails with mill ruins.

Beautiful, 235-acres along the Brandywine River. Spend some time in the Hagley Store. It features a unique selection of books, gifts, and children's items for the season.

If you're visiting Hagley, you've GOT to see the Millwright Shop -- very cool nineteenth-century equipment powered by a network of gears, pulleys, leather belts, and axles.
