The nose of our 2011 three sisters cuvée is driven by apricot, violet and white peach. The front end of the flavor profile is dominated with peach and nectarine flavors that transition to mild back end acidity with lingering flavors of orange zest. Aromatically, our 2011 “glacier ridge” chardonnay is driven by bright citrus and peach with underlying hints of mango and vanilla. The entrance of the flavor profile is dominated by genuine pineapple and citrus supported with zesty mid-palate acidity. The 2011 “glacier ridge” boasts a lemon cream and guava fruit driven finish. Our lovely chardonnay desires the company of food. Pairing “glacier ridge” with manchego or soft ripened cheeses such as brie or chevre is delightful. In addition, the flavors of “glacier ridge” harmonize wonderfully with cream based pasta sauce, lightly cooked fish and barbecued chicken.

Composition: 100% chardonnay, all of our wines are given a specific name, significant to the hearst legacy. The story behind each one is as important as the wine itself and helps influence its namesake.

The aromatics of our three sisters cuvée are driven by strawberry and toffee with background subtleties of bacon fat, black pepper and floral notes. Upfront, the flavor profile begins with cherry, strawberry, vanilla, and candy-esque flavors supported by refreshing front-end acidity. The mid-palate is driven by fine grain tannin transitioning to a lengthy finish dominated by toffee and dried red fruits. Our winemaker‏ is extremely passionate about spanish wines. Thus, “chileano” was born. Our vision with “chileano” was to create a tempranillo stylistically similar to the great wines of the ribera del duero in central spain. Our tempranillo is driven by ripe cherry aromas with hints of mocha and strawberry. Tame acidity and varietal fruit flavors on the palate allow our “chileano” to drink well out of the gates and for the next 2-4 years.Alcohol: 13.5%, total acidity:.60 g/100 ml, ph: 3.76, cooperage: 25% new american oak, 10% new french oak, net contents: 750 ml

The 2010 "pico creek" merlot is the poster child for balance. Garnet in color with astounding clarity and medium intensity, "pico creek" showcases classic merlot aromas of cherry, plum, raspberry, cigar box, black pepper, with a nice inclusion of french oak. The front end of the flavor profile brings pleasing cherry flavors transitioning to a blackberry driven mid palate with incredible acidity and structure, which sets the stage for the finish line. Our 2010 "pico creek" merlot has a lovely finish driven by raspberry, spice, tea, forest floor, and long velvety tannin. As usual, our merlot beckons to be prepared with your favorite foods. This vintage in particular pairs wonderfully with ribeye grilled over an open flame served with rosemary fingerling potatoes. Our cabernet sauvignon, bubbed "bunkhouse", is black fruit and cassis driven with hints of sweet french oak on the horizon. “Bunkhouse” is layered with blackberry flavors, notes of blueberry reduction with delicious chewy tannin on the finish.
