THe big Oktoberfest-style pretzels sold in the Schwemme by pretzl-girls are delicious. Kitchen is open till midnight or later, though a smaller menu is offered after 10pm. Get chicken and apfelstrudel

Worth bringing your out of town buddys to soak up the Bavarian atmosphere. Gets very busy when there is a football match on.

No visit to Munich is complete without a visit at this famous "Wirtshaus". Ask for the price of a locker for you mug :-) In summer I prefer the small beer garden in the back.
