Daniel BowenMay 17, 2019The Corned Beef Hash was superb. Amazingly flavorful and very filling. The portions were huge! Hard to find a good bang for your buck breakfast place in Berkeley, but this local diner is exactly that!
Vegan breakfast is great. Especially for people that are sick of silken tofu. Firm traditional tofu with onions, spinach, and mushrooms. Served with grits or black beans and dry toast.
Pacific UnionMarch 27, 2013The Home Fry Heaven is definitely sinful but so delicious! Highly recommend the coffee cake/baked goods and the grits that you can get with almost any breakfast.
Remember to bring your Splenda or Stevia if you don't want sugar or Sweet & Low
Colin was such a sweetheart, and they include 20% tip by default. Will definitely be coming back.
Try the Breakfast Burger (Sweet) - Ground beef, bacon, & sausage w/ fried egg & cheddar on cinnamon swirl French Toast- If it's a weekday around 9 to noon, check the "no parking times map" before sitting down.
- Try the Home Fry Heaven - Bacon & eggs w/ the Home Fry Heaven upgrade!! Always order this!
Favorites are the Italian Eggs (scrambled, w/ pesto), pecan waffle, "Weekday Special" (one egg, short stack or waffle, one other side e.g. bacon).

Order their perfect waffle with bacon and a soy latte on Sunday morning after a long night out.
Eat here. Do it. I recommend the corn beef hash with poached eggs.
