Comfortable small hotel close to Union Square with cozy rooms, bicycles, a glass of wine for Happy Hour - perfect.

Best place in SF to break out that ascot and monocle and show off that English degree Dad begged you not to get. Don't check out without taking advantage of the free breakfast in the Library Bar.

The free wifi is reliable. The library bar is very nice. The breakfast buffet is great, but it'll cost ya. They'll slip a 5$ coupon under your door if you skip room service for a day.

Decent enough hotel. The room is big for SF. Good location. Water pressure and drainage is a little low but ok. Chic hotel. Elevator is slow and tiny. A little musty 2.5/5

Hotel was nice, but not kid friendly. No high chairs, elevators small, no kid menu items. I know that this is an grown-up hotel but they could at least have the bare minimum...Oh and valet is a joke.

This hotel, named for poet Kenneth Rexroth, pays homage to the city's literary influences: its walls are lined with antique typewriters and books. They also host readings/ book signings. Read more

They have free wine between 5 and 6 pm and show old movies in the bar, which has people lining the floorboards to pack the place out!

Love Hotel Rex--Duck into the cozy Lobby for a cocktail. It's like stepping into a 1940s movie. Be famous.

Agree with ck fattori, valet is a joke, they charge if you want to use wi-fi. Don't stay at this hotel. Trust me, pick another great ones around this place instead of this shit.

This hotel sucks. Expensive and still they charge for parking your car and don't let you know when you make the check in. Don't help you with the luggage. Awful experience.
