Was really excited to try some good ramen, the place looks great and the service is friendly. However the food did let us down a little, the ramen was just fine and the donburi a bit plain... :(

The original Ichiban which opened its doors in June 1998, was quickly followed by a sister branch in the west-end of the the city in 2002.

Go for one of their blooming teas. Both delicious and visually stunning 🌸 🍵

The chicken katsu was overdone, the tempura a bit bland although the beef skewers were tasty. Pickled Ginger is still the sushi restaurant to beat in Glasgow.

Best and most cheap Sushi bar in Glasgow city. Casual Japanese place, not to busy and not to quiet. I just love it here!

Good ramen but not the best in Glasgow. Gyoza were small and deep fried to crisp nothing left of them. Service very good and restaurant is clean and well looked after.

Had fried rice (lunch deal), no wow factor I would say. Salmon sushi not that fresh. Will try their udon in my next visit, perhaps?

Ask what the "season vegetables" are before ordering them...I was served with a big plate of hot cabbage... Ouch!
